  1. No idea. On one of my first playthroughs of singleplayer I chose the duals, thought: "two sabers = double damage = double fun", but as I soon found out, they were kinda useless in duelling, they didn't deflect blaster bolts as well (or maybe I wasn't doing something right?), and were a lot more restrictive than a single saber, or even the staff, movement and style-wise. Switching to fast style didn't help much either, and it looked kinda silly that you still held the off-hand saber in your hands, ableit deactivated - looked quite impractical, in fact. In multiplayer it's even worse since blocking and taking damage in MP is different. Now in real life, having two swords can be a great boon, if you know how to use them properly. Otherwise, you'll only nerf yourself.
  2. Yeah, I guess you're right.
  3. All the more reason to have an Equinox contest
  4. The Spring Equinox is this month, and April Fools and Easter are about a week after that, so why not a have a contest? Secret Santa is good and all, but more than two months have passed already! Besides, there haven't been Equinox- or Easter-themed contests to begin with (not sure if there were any April Fools' contests either in fact). What say you's?
  5. Yeah, now that I gave it more thought, I guess you're right. Well, you're the director, of course. I just think that having AT-ST's, or other vehicles for that matter, would be a liability considering the architecture of Tipoca City (or wherever those cloning labs were). Still, I could be mistaking, I don't know how much weight the bridges can actually hold. In any case, here's a thing to criticize ( ): the AT-ST's would have been very useful against the LAAT's, but in the video they're hardly doing anything.
  6. Well, in out-of-movie media (books, for example) blasters take more than one hit to actually kill someone. It's only fair you wouldn't immediately die of a shot to the leg. This reminds me of:
  7. Something I never understood about this particular mission is why they needed Boba Fett. Yeah, sure, gameplay wise it was good, but the 501st consisted entirely (or almost entirely) of clone-troopers that were bred on Kamino to begin with. Why they needed Boba is unclear since they already most likely knew the layout of all the facilities is really unclear. Edit: Pretty nice job overall. Of course, some things were lacking (animations, for example), but that's the engine's fault. Loved the extra details. Why the AT-ST's though?
  8. Have you tried the Kotor pack on the first page?
  9. I doubt anyone really did
  10. I think the 'datapad' referred to them as such, or whatnot. Agreed, it was kinda funny to see the same guys in all places Corellia, as far as I remember had at least one big city, but also had natural areas. Then again, it might have been in the past.
  11. Yeah, the design was kinda strange, considering the map was supposed to be a rancor-fights arena (at least, based on the posters there, and the MP siege map). And what's with those dudes you had to rescue? Why were they called 'elders'? They didn't look very old, so I take it, 'elder' is a title? But then, what were they 'elders' of? And yes, it was easy to get lost in the map, but still, it was kinda fun, if your idea of fun is getting chased by a rancor so as to give those 'elder' dudes time to escape. Agreed. Though I'd say it's closer to Corellia's Coronet
  12. I meant that watching it for longer than a few minutes, or seeing them do the same things in every other room gets boring, considering how they mostly do the same thing over and over again, but otherwise it's fairly immersive since training is all about repetition, and since you get to see npcs actually do stuff instead of just standing around mindlessly. Anyway, moving on. Come on, guys, who else loves which maps?
  13. It still is, but it's not what I was saying.
  14. Well yeah, the the Yavin academy level where you got to see other Jedi training was cool, but you know, still kinda boring since they only ever did a handful of things. Also, I do agree that Blenjeel is pretty neat, if you're a fan of Dune, and from an immersive point of view, the level is actually pretty sweet, albeit freaky. Gameplay-wise though, it was annoying as fuck. Funny thing too, back in the days i was trying to make a SW fan-comic set during the Clone Wars, and I used the map as a crash-site for a Republic battleship. Too bad I never got through with the idea.
  15. Yeah, so I finally stopped playing TES (and videogames by extension), but I still love the universe. I'm thinking of reading through the Imperial Library, but am worried I'll wanna play the games again :(

@Ramikad, this reminds me of "The Poison Song", but I could be mistaking.

I like it too. 'Convocation in the malignity of the moonless speculum, a dance of fire --'

  17. In JO: Kinda difficult, most of the levels had immersion and atmosphere, so I liked them greatly, but if I was to choose, I'd choose Kejim_2 and the Doomgiver levels - the latter was all interesting, if a bit tedious; also the levels with the Shadowtrooper labs (don't remember what they were called). It'd be easier to name particular areas in levels. For my least favourite ones, I'll go with anything Nar Shadaa and Academy related (the first was annoying and the second was just disappointing), . In JKA: Dosuun (Rax Jorris - really liked that you had to go through the level without a lightsaber), Kril'dor (X-Wing and the Tibana gas station), Yavin_1 (the very first level, I only wish it was longer), I suppose, Yalara (Noghri), Byss (imperial dreadnought), Chandrila (t2_rift), Tanaab (mutant rancor), Bakura (volcano power plant), korriban_3, Tattooine (t1_surprise), vjun_3 (especially the latter part of the level), dark side Korriban (I had fun). Hoth and Korriban felt like RavenSoft didn't do them justice though. A shame, them's are some of my favourite planets in the SW universe. Of the unfavourites: Blenjeel (giant worms), Zonju V (t2_trip), Yavin (just boring), korriban_1, vjun_1 and vjun_2 (though both had their moments), Taspir (both, annoying, especially the second part). In the past, the list would have been different.
  18. Hey! How's it going? Any updates?
  19. Well, in some areas it's clearly obvious Davik's lines were edited/ spliced - they cut too fast or too abruptly. Maybe add a small pause between them, or something? I'm not sure if someone already made the clanking HK walk sounds for JKA, but I'm pretty sure I've heard them in one of the KOTORs. Yeah, nobody ported the Mark I, and I guess that would require a special skeleton, and animations too. A pity. If I remember correctly the merc/ bounty hunter/ thug .npc files all have several entries for different kinds of characters (Rodian with E-11 and Rodian with Disruptor; Merc thug and Merc officer; Gran boxer and Gran grenadier; etc.) - plenty of space to go round. Derrick? What Derrick? Is the K2 hud you used in the last video the same one that's been uploaded on here so long ago? If so, I doubt we'll get an update.
  20. Nice! Very Quake/ Unreal! Actually, I remember there was a mod (was it KoTF?) that had a similar looking Rift map. Of course, it wasn't this map, but still, pretty reminiscent.
  21. Huh, I don't remember Davik's first line, at all, not even the parts that make it up. It is only now that I realize that the supposed Sith Language of Atris' holocrons in TSL was actually a recycling of the Nikto language! Perhaps it would be a better idea to replace the assassin droids not with the HK's but with the Sentinel Droids or the Mark 1 assault droids? These guys at least have shields, because from what I've seen in the video, the HK's felt like pushovers, whereas the original assassin droids were made a challenge because of their shields. Another thing I'd fix, if you'd leave the HK's is to give them clanky walking sounds, like in KOTOR. It would also be great to have a fully working KOTOR hud, because so far, the only working ones are the shield, heath and Force meters. It'd be cool to have the player icon in the appropriate place, and maybe show the saber styles, and selected weapon/ Force power... maybe remove the numeric value of heath/ Force meters. I realized that it's all in the future, but please don't forget about it, okay? Also, some of Davik's lines need more editing, though they already sound impressive. I wonder: Are all bounty-hunters/ thugs/ mercenaries going to be Nikto and Duros? In both KOTORS there were Weequays, Rodians, Twi'leks, Grans and even a few Bith also.
  22. Are you a journalist? Because I get strangely journalistic vibes from your post.
