Don't worry about it, just say the j and got curious Oh yeah, that one's always been one of my favourite scenes, though looking back, it was a pretty strange and silly thing to do - sure, the Jedi cut a hole and they got in, but the troopers left on the surface? What were they hoping to achieve by storming an anti-aircraft turret armed only with blaster rifles? I'm actually surprised nobody bothered to make something similar to this, considering all the potential. -

A bit of an off-topic:You wouldn't happen to be from central Europe or the Balkans by any chance, would you? -
How Langerd would make a new Battlefront game

One thing i didn't like in classic BF2 (it's a small thing, but still) was that when you played on Polis Masa or space maps, and would get out of the airlock, you'd start loosing heath quickly and would die. Ok, i can understand the vacuum of space, the cold, and maybe space radiation, but it shouldn't be like that for every faction. Rebels, who have regular fabric clothes and no breath-masks of any kind should normally die out in space, but Storm and Clonetroopers? They have life-support systems in their amours, and even if their amours are not exactly space-adapted, they're still sealable, so should provide at least some temporary protection. Droids shouldn't be affected at all: they're machines, they don't need air, don't fear cold or radiation. I understand that's all a matter of balance, but i'd rather have immersion and logical accuracy. -
Cool! But you need to make him fatter in the guerilla outfit"

How Langerd would make a new Battlefront game

Well, you could try to assemble a team, get Cryo or some other engine, and make your own game. Sure, it wouldn't be Star Wars for legal reasons, but if a game is good, who cares if it's not Star Wars? Also, to your point on the weapons available to the different factions: do you think it'd make sense for Rebels to have access to the DC-15, E-11, and the E-5? I think so, since Rebels are supposedly underfunded and would thus scavenge and capture other factions' gear. Not sure what alternate weapons would the other factions' grunts have access to since droid grunt always carried E-5's, and since the Stormtroopers always carried E-11's. Maybe some variations? Like regular E-11 (no bonus); E-11 with stock (better accuracy); E-11 with extended mag (more ammo), etc.? Now there were obviously other weapons available to the factions in the old EU (maybe in the new one as well), but one has to do research before integrating them. The Heavy class, i think, should be left like in the classic BF's - rocket launcher + blaster pistol - with maybe the option to replace the rocketlauncher with a heavy repeater, or blaster pistol with heavy blaster pistol or smg. Specialist would be able to choose its specialization - medic, engineer, saper, something else. Sniper, maybe left as is in BF2 classic, maybe replace the sentry droid with a cloaking device, or have it as an option. -
Guess no. But still, you'd best ask someone with more knowledge on the topic. Maybe @@Noodle?

It's not that. It's about publicly belittling yourself. If people see/ hear you do it, they'll have one of the following reactions: 1) they might pity you and try to cheer you up, thinking you're just going through some difficult period; 2) they might make fun of you or treat you badly in any other way (usually assholes do it because by belittling yourself, you're inviting them to do it as well, in a way); 3) they might scold you for being an attention whore; 4) they won't care and just go about their business. Neither case is any good, really, and it's not just "these days", people have always done it. So even if its true that one might be poor, it's still better to have some degree of self-respect, don't you think?

Oh, drama, how I missed thee! ©

Even if it's true, don't say that because people will start thinking worse of you. I know, I've made this mistake in the past.

So what are you requesting? You want someone to change the music in GPChannel's Mustafar Vader castle map?
-
Not even the interior, more like a docking bay lobby, or something.

I still think that could work! Hold the porg's legs together, or maybe squeeze its belly so it opens its mouth to release the saber blade, in the manner of those squeezable anti-stress toys? That'd be a wicked animated lightsaber!
-
A Tusken rifle with a porg attached ass-first to its barrel and blaster bolts coming out of its mouth? You know, like in Postal 2 where you can 'attach' a cat to your shotgun so it acts as a suppressor? A rocket launcher that shoots porgs instead of rockets with the flames coming out of the porgs' asses? The possibilities are limitless, limitless, I tells ya!

TOR Armored Jedi with Kyle head?

Hmm, didn't I see that Reborn Mando somewhere already? Or was it just in this very thread?

Wait, you made a new thread?

I knew that, but still wanted to know if there's anything else on .com -
...there's this site jkhub.com When i go there, it's just a background of some port with a bunch of (i think) Asian-looking boats and the line "jkhub.com, all rights reserved". Does anyone know anything about it? Does if display anything else for you?

Oh yes, I know how you feel. I started with sci-fi back in the 90's (when I was still a kid, actually), and would watch just about anything they showed on TV: movies (Total Recall, Judge Dredd, Terminator, Timecop, Universal Soldier, 6th Day, Robocop, Starship Troopers, Alien, Independence Day, Predator, Close encounters of the third kind, Robo Wars, Screamers, 20.000 leagues under the sea, many others, even some erotica! ), cartoons (Transformers, Batman, Dexter's Lab, TMNT, Inspector Gadget, a few animes even), series (The X-Files, Star Trek: TNG, Guest from the future (a Soviet sci-fi series for children)). A lot of video games at the time (almost all of them, I think) were sci-fi at least to some extent. Star Wars I didn't watch until TPM came out, so I started with that. Star Trek I only saw a few episodes as I didn't really follow the show, until I grew older. Stargate I only saw the movie (came across one of the series on TV recently, not sure why people like it so much, the "problems" feel so arbitrary, and why they had to change some of the things established by the movie I really don't understand). I don't even watch half the Hollywood movies anymore, sci-fi or not. They are overly "realistic", "serious" (or the opposite - TLJ, I'm looking at you!), and gritty; it's all grey tones, and endings aren't satisfactory. The sci-fi films are uninspired, they all feel the same - blue/ green holograms and holo-computers, robots that behave more human than the humans, generic alien races, hyperspace travel, a loveable rogue protagonist (who isn't even all that loveable, though sometimes protagonists are done right, with them being regular people who faced crisis - Alien: Covenant, for example, though I didn't like that movie overal), and a whooping TON of cartoony CGI's - it all feels like I'm watching a sub-par action movie in sci-fi props with little-to-no context, or the context is so overused, it's not even interesting (I'm looking at you, Avatar!). Another thing that gets to me is that when they make space operas, they always treat planets (fucking planets!!) as cities - not even as countries! Sure, Coruscant is a planet-sized city, so it kinda makes sense, but other planets? Planets where there's nothing even remotely resembling a unified planetary government system? Yes, yes, I know, budget constrains, and other practical reasons, but at least have the decency to make it feel like these are planets, not cities, make them feel diverse, at least. Another problem is that if it's sci-fi, then it's strictly about space/ aliens, time-travel/ parallel universes, A.I./ computers, or zombie-viruses/ other kind of post-apocalypse. Ok, I get it, the first two are what most people think of when they hear 'sci-fi', the third is "current", and the last one is about those 'what if?' scenarios that everyone dreads. But come on, there's so much more to sci-fi than just this! Whatever happened to sea/ undersea sci-fi, interdimensional travel (not parallel universes where the protagonist's granny is evil), genetics, regular planetary romance, gothic sci-fi, wicked inventions, and many other things? So, as result of all this, I turned to reading. I did watch Disney's John Carter, and I loved that movie! It actually inspired to me read the original stories. Right now, I'm kinda reading "Chessmen of Mars" (it's the fifth in the series), "kinda" because it gets a bit repetitive and boring over time. I'm also reading "The Bull's Hour" by I. Yefremov (it's Soviet sci-fi). I also read a few shorts by I. Asimov, N. Gaiman, A. Clarke, P. K. Dick, and a few novels, among which are "I am legend" by R. Matheson and "Aelita" by A. N. Tolstoy. It's not much, but it's something. I should also return to reading C. J. Cherryh's "Chanur" series and G. Orwell's "1984" because I abandoned them at one point. As to "outdated" sci-fi, I actually love it. It's interesting and fun to see what people expected of the future, what became reality and what didn't. Movies are good for this too, but you know, books have more depth in these things. Actually, there's a sci-fi themed reddit community. Not long ago, someone complained on there that cyberpunk is greatly outdated because half the things it speaks about didn't happen. What I think, is that we're actually getting there, because we can see today that technology is evolving at a rapid pace, cybernetic implants and hover-cars are being developed, more and more people are constantly online, the internet is getting everywhere (even in one's salt shaker!), the environment is falling apart, mass surveillance is a thing (even if your government doesn't spy on you, big data corporations are!), and "civilized" capitalism is getting out of hand (at least, in some countries). Um, did I forget to mention something? So yes, I do love sci-fi.
