  1. I've had an imageshack account of years, I've hit the cap which is lame cause I really liked them.
  2. I use dropbox to share files with multiple devices but for images I've gotten to like the website imgur.com since unlike photobucket that has a cap on image size and imageshack no longer being free it seems to be a decent alternative. Also noticed some others in this community were using it.

  4. Alright, bumping this up, about to just release this thing since the 3rd LOD is giving me problems and I don't feel like playing around with it anymore. So, what's the legality of sounds? Can I use sound recordings from the old games or even voice session videos posted on youtube? Or is there maybe someone out there who thinks they can replicate Kain's voice to a T? Just gotta make the .skin files for the team skins and add sounds, everything else is done.
  5. My tutorial really isn't aimed at someone who has never opened the program either, you're going to have to learn the basic navigation and controls of the program or ANY program before diving into modding. Learn to walk before you try to run.
  6. The problem is the base animations, not the base sabers like most people once believed.
  7. Smooth out the joint where you extruded inward to create the edgeloop before the start of the fins on the sides.
  8. I'm sure with some time spent on google you can find out who all the original authors are. Look around on hapslashes old forum, pretty sure people on there were members of the old stargate mod, as well as I think @@Szico VII being involved at some point.
  9. Just take like the basic Softimage low poly man model primitive and model armor over it, that's what I'd do. A clone model would be so crazy easy but I'd feel like I'm beating a dead horse since there's already so many out there and I'm not much of a fan of the prequels.

  12. There is a riderAnim line in the code that can be used in .veh files but it doesn't work, seems like it would just need some fixing. This is the only reason why I gave up on the AT-RT, base animations didn't work and I didn't want to overwrite any of the existing and mess them up.
  13. I think the way to look at it right now @@Archangel35757 is that we want to learn to walk before attempting to run. Without being 100% sure how this will turn out it would be best to just have a trial on a character that has a lot of dialogue in the SP campaign.

  15. What Psyk0Sith said, one of the biggest reason faces look so bad other than the poor animations is the lack of edgeloops and proper edgeloops at that in the models themselves. You seem to be pretty aware of this since you're asking for a new model. I'm guessing Jan is a good choice since for instance in JK2 she probably has a lot of dialogue in the cutscenes. Gah, I wanna help but making a new model is so time consuming for me, animation part is EZ, when it comes to humanoids I tend to really procrastinate. Somebody who has patience should make some rotoscopes using pics of Angela Harry and I might consider it, that or just model over the original model but with 10x better topology. I have a base female I made a while back but it'd need a good bit of tweaking to look asian since the face was built around my ex-gf, dat hoe was a cracker.
  16. Fixed width looks so much better so I don't wanna switch even though you keep borkin it. =p Only theme that actually makes me care that there's a background image.
  17. Whoever does it I say it should be based to the T on Angela Harry, the original actress from the Dark Forces 2 cutscenes.
  18. Only other person I know of off the top of my head that's using Blender around here is @@Pande, Blender isn't used very much for JA.

      That was the best game in the series! If I ever get tired of the Souls games (nah) I'll play it again.

  20. Not sure if it matters but Softimage doesn't use smoothing groups, hard edges are used instead (way better solution IMO). The most guaranteed way to have hard edges is to just break them but that increases the vertex count.

  22. That would be cool, I always liked watching that back before when I had it for XBOX but once I learned about game modding I got rid of that copy for the PC version instead.
  23. I'm asking because I've been searching forever for the demo movie that plays if you let the game sit idle at the menu, it's a pretty cool movie and I'm trying to find it to upload to youtube.
