This game is dead; empty servers and a handful of

dreamers, who still want to play or/and modify the game, and this website is very imporant for anyone who's still interested in this game.

Creating maps and player models and making re-skins is fun, but working on anything bigger is a waste of time to me. I hope EA makes a new JK.

I know which file you're talking about, but I'm looking for actual reverse models of the lightsabers.

So you don't want a TFU stance with the saber being held 'backwards' in hand, instead you'd want a reverse saber for normal stance?

If you got something bigger done, why not release a few prefabs? I'ts only a waste of time only if you say so

Atleat I couldn't do better.  It's looks dark now, but with a shader + ingame image it may look better than Scerendo's version.

Are you saying it's better to let older maps no one really uses anymore to just stay as the are and not get a possible chance at being used again by anyone? 

Are you saying that personal clan maps are a big NO NO and off limits to a community that in and of itself thrives on custom file and content to keep going? 

Are you saying that recreating pieces of work other people did and trying to do it better then the original is bad because it might overshadow the original work even IF people can still use and access the original work itself at any time which people currently are choosing not to?

Yes this is exactly what I'm saying.  Isn't that obvious?  You should make your own textures and design your own maps.

You can't just go and say you're making a version 2 of something you didn't even create in the first place, and call it a better version.

It's as rude as if I would remake your Academy map without toilets and the bar and without some minor unnecessary details and release

that as a better version or even as version 3 or was it 4? You're not even satisfied with your own work. The map you're currently copying

is downloadable at Jk3files.com and already has close to 11 000 downlaods  - this means to you that it has to be " improved" ?

It's true that there no real copyright to map and playermodels made by gamers, but you should never remake something that wasn't originally yours.

unfortunately trying to make such a thing without a team of 50-75 full time paid organized developers with years of experience is impossible and unrealistic.

eventhough I'm not a MB2 fan, I still think that it's a good example of how rewarding it is to finish a mod and release it  -- same thing with JA+ mod.

I keep these mods close to my mind when I'm working on my own projects because it helps me to concentrate and be in the moment 100%

Dont try to transforms this game into something that it's not;  a modern game.   JEDI ACADEMY is QUAKE with lightsabers, and that is AWESOME...

Some time after JEDI ACADEMY was released, rp servers and some meaningles JA+ servers appeared with kids just walking around /amatease

planning on creating a Jedi'sHome or Jedi Council GCX  where they could even sleep in their own 3D rooms and set "trials" on how to rank up from PADAWAN to JEDI MASTER  and setting stupid rules on how players aren't allowed to enter some specific rooms without them crying about it via Xfire to their Clan Leader,  asking if he'd come and /kick the outsider from the server.  Ofcourse, he would join the server and do /amatease in the mainhall. Seriously.... wtf

This game can be modified in just about any way you'd imagine, but why should anyone try to make a SWG  or TFU mod if you can buy these games ?

I spit on Ubisoft. -- This is the one game series that should not have bent its knees and take it in the ass (improved graphics for next gen - PS4 & XBOX ONE )

The PC version is poorly optimized and suffers from a wide range of problems, including poor frame rate, crashing, clipping, mouse lag on menus, freezing, poor rendering, and a general lack of graphics options. Black Flag already took a leap of faith towards improved graphics, but this series was never about graphics.

I even bought myself a new graphics card,  ASUS GEFORCE GTX 750 1GB which allowed me to set the highest settings on Black Flag and other games I own.

Now I can enjoy gaming even more. I have no regrets about my purchase, eventhough I know this isnt the newest card on the market -- Bought it for 100€.

Although I'm already looking trough Youtube for any advices on how to fix this FPS Lag in game and in Menu, I still thought I'd better make a topic for this

since there may be others here who are either having the same problem or may have even solved it already.  Please leave a comment and help Assassins.
