No, you don't see it there because noone wanted it to appear If I knew this is such a popular saber, I'd do a small optional PK3. Though there's a problem I've come upon during the test run for my packs; The additional saber names appear in vanilla JKA but not in OpenJK (talking about the SP menu), which I urgently need to fix before I could upload such a mod. It's pointless uploading a faulty one and including me, I'm sure many people use OpenJK. Which is the most expendable saber in the vanillas, or rather, which schould I replace for you?

It's nice, though... I'd remove the centre piece of the HUD or make it almost unnoticeable, tried it out and..well in short, it just takes too much space on the screen. I'd remove or alter 90% of the HUDs parts or sizes, to make it only on sides or/and on the upper part of the screen. Just for the sake of logic; everyone likes to look at the whole screen most of the time and anything static outside those boundaries is just a bit awkward, I think. But still... For a 1st person player or gun wielder if you will, this is ... AWESOME! And it's nice if you play as a droid 5/5 because I had fun with this mod, effort and quality!

It's nearly impossible to tell you when that moment will come, but i can tell you that so far i'm almost done with everything, only luke's hilt remains and the tusken weapons i've just decided.

But I would want to include the gaffi stick alongside a new tusken rifle in my next update to the Misc Sabers Pack, which will just FYI come to JKHub sooner then the melee weapons. Is that allright with you? I've been thinking about this for some time but haven't really told anyone yet.

Qu Rahn's lightsaber or some may know this hilt from Dark Forces. Either way, it's a hilt requested by one of our members Nikomaru14. - Custom shaders - return damage turned on - a bit longer blade - comes with tag_holsterorigin - MP support (duh!) - SP console support (enable cheats with "helpusobi 1" then type in "saber qurahn") That's about it. @@redsaurus holstering bug report: Major bugs: - Kylo Ren is holstered totaly wrong, even though other hilts have the tags positioned the same way... wierd but probably a mistake on my part. - If you switch to another saber via console, the previous saber stays holstered at the hip and here's some pictures: Saber switch bug (I'm actually using ONLY the stinger, but I was using tavion's before that... as you can see, they didn't interchange) Kylo Ren bug: First off, Kylo Ren has the same orientation as ALL other hilts, though it seems like it didn't turn upside down like the others and like with all the others, I've copied the parent tag and renamed it, so it SCHOULD be correct... but as you can see, it's not. I'm gonna try to recreate the tags once more, see if this fixes it. Smaller bugs: Here's alora's and tavion's hilts, which including with all others I've made seem to work perfectly, I'm really wondering what the problem with Kylo Ren could be... All of the tag_holsterorigin are placed exactly with the centre a bit to the left from the rings/holster buttons, but still I think they're placed a bit too high, just a little bit... as you can see, the end of the hilt is almost at the chest area. I'm wondering if that's my fault or in your mod, I think we'll need to work together to sort this one out. After we do, I'm gonna post a tutorial on how to correctly place tag_holsterorigin to make it compatible and showing up the correct way on the player, so everyone can start making hilts holster-compatible. EDIT: Did you make the script bind the tag_parent on other sabers to the holstering position? I've found out that Kylo Ren's saber is holstered exactly at the tag_blade2 position. Vanilla sabers are holstered correctly, that's where I realized it's not my fault. Because they probably use tag_parent and are holstered a bit lower, right? They have to, because there's no other tag on the hilt, except the blade. Tavion's and Alora's are a bit too high because they don't use tag_holsterorigin at all for the placement, too..through which I conlcude, that your script doesn't always use the correct tags. Could that be? sample screenshot of a holstered vanilla saber: (holsters PERFECTLY!) If you don't mind, I'll be doing various checks regarding the holstering system from now on and report anything that is not working as it schould, is that okay with you?

you just copy over the bbcode from your desired Sketchfab model, otherwise it works like that: you put [sketchfab] at the start and the same brackets at the end, but with a slash before "sketchfab" to create a gadget for forums. Just like you use spoiler tags and so on.

I decided today to use exclusively Sketchfab and also Circa was kind enough to enable an embed on our forums... which, in short, means I can post the model showcase ONLY here. I will message you personally first, of course, showing the concepts. It's self-explaining that I want you to confirm the use of the weapon first. About Sketchfab that I mentioned, look it up in the Ideas/Issues forum category, Circa, me and AshuraDX posted examples of what I mean. And yes, I've made this announcement and topic, so we can use this topic with you and other team members for various things, questions for people, showcase, oppinions and so on. I'll try to draw some tomorrow or the day after that, really depends as I'm busy as hell during the week.

True and it kinda means the same, so I guess I could go with it. I like one-word names better than for example "the prodigal son". Anyway, it was only in JKA I came across sabers having names. Is this standard practice for jedi or is it just something rendred to JKA only? Thank you! though the model is still unoptimized and the textures will get finalized in Substance Designer (if you're interested why I'll use it, look at AshuraDX's mods. Most of the scratches, various texture layers and so on are done in this program), I just need a day or two to figure out what it offers in total, I just got it yesterday.

For now, this is just an uninteresting, short-message thread, but I'll be using it from now on to post my weapons here. Either as screenshots at first or later as sketchfab links, so you can take as much of a good look as you need. I've got some good ideas now and I'll get around to draw them on paper soon, it's just I'm heads over toe drowning in work.

@ when I was searching around on the net for the hilt names, I noticed on certain sides that luke's hilt is named "The Prodigal Son". Might be just someone made that up, but it's worth taking into account if that's really it's name. But after all, I don't really think Luke's hilt is awesome enough to be called the prodigal son @@Circa, here's an uploaded (tagged) version, take a look at it and if you still think it's too wide, I'll fix it. It's radius doesn't go even as far as the ending of the two red buttons above the center piece.

what did you do @@Circa I copied over the BBCode and was messing around in my topic but couldn't get it to work. EDIT: Found out by myself didn't know you need to copy just the code after the site adress. When I copied over the BBcode sketchfab offers you, I was sure that it's not enabled on our site because it didn't work. Well, happy that I was wrong

Embed means like using certain features from other sites on some other site, like youtube videos in gadgets, right? If sketchfab enables this, why isn't it enabled for JKHub yet? or am I wrong? I just came across this question now, because I plan on using sketchfab instead of always doing a million of screenshots.
