I'm not sure what's supposed to happen but when I click on "start game" nothing happens

I have really no clue... I assume that the mod is not running (you didn't really answer that yet though) so it must be something with the dlls... Is the pk3 in your base folder? Did you try and delete the dlls in the base folder? If the mod is actually running... are g_allowweapons and g_instagibmode set to 0?

Is promode running? If yes, it must be the g_allowthesaber command. You can easily check that by trying some of the cmds, also there should be a message if promode is running. If not, it must be a conflicting dll in some of your pk3s.

I'm a bit drunk and it's late but lemme think. Promode is not compatible with other code mods so you should make sure that you only run promode. Are you sure that g_allowthesaber is set to 0? What exactly happens if you run the game?

We might get a small arena shooter revival though Unreal Tournament, Reflex and Toxikk are all games that I'm looking forward to even though they are basically just remakes of Quake and Unreal. And Battlefront 3 might become a cool game as well.

Why would they make a new Jedi Knight after over 10 years when they could milk the TFU and BF series. A new Jedi Knight would be definitely not an arena shooter anymore, it wouldn't have strafe jumping and not a saber system as we have it in JK2 or JKA. Why? Cause it's way too complicated for today's generation. I saw this happening with Chivalry which is the game with the most in depth melee fighting system since Jedi Knight. 90% of the people who bought that game complain about the more complicated game mechanics and call it bug abuse and glitching. A new Jedi Knight would maybe be a decent singleplayer game but overall I think it would be awful considering what kind of games are popular nowadays.

All I'm saying is that it's easy to be the best if there is no one else playing. And I also doubt that strafing takes more skill than sabering or CTF. I already explained in some other thread why people are playing 1.0 and why I personally played 1.0 for a couple years. I don't want to write it all again but gameplay changes are definitely not the reason

You can't compare JK2 with JKA and full force CTF with classic sabering. When it comes to JKA I doubt any of those CTF players could win against a top saberist in a saber only duel and most good saberists don't have a clue of force or guns.

I really hope for an adult and dark movie. I always hated it when Star Wars tried to be funny or extra suitable for kids (like Jar Jar Binks or the Ewoks). I also don't want to see all the old characters from the 80s, maybe Luke and 1-2 more but that should be it. I think a complete "reboot" would have been even better, means letting the movie take place in a completely different time than the previous movies. Maybe a hundred years before or after RotJ. I like what J.J. Abrams did with Star Trek though and I hope he will do something similar with Star Wars.

Run steam in offline mode

Hi, so since one week ago I've got some strange problem with my internet going on. Once in a while my ping suddenly goes really high and stays high for like 10-30 seconds until it goes back to normal. My first though was a virus but avast didn't find anything. Does anyone have a clue what it could be? Is it possible that my Wlan-adapter is simply broken? No one else is having these problems so it must be something on my computer (Windows 7)

While I agree with you @@Ping he didn't say that this guy is the best player, but the best player he had encountered Personally I can't really tell because I have not much of a clue of JK2 highskill gameplay

The Harry Potter mod would have been awesome (or the other project we were working on heh) but that's just so much work for two guys
