  1. Split from "Bug/Continuity Error Rundown" Didn't @@therfiles make CamSP? Or am I thinking of someone else?
  2. Split 5 posts into "CamSP doesn't work with JKA:E"
  3. @@Ramikad is right. Price refers to how much you need to spend to purchase an item, and Value is how much you receive if you sell your item to the vendor. You can sell items to vendors for half of their original cost.
  4. The shop menu is in need of a facelift. Here's the current concept for the new shop, which has some new features. First, you will be able to see both your inventory and the shopkeeper's inventory at the same time, without switching to another menu. Second, you can repurchase items that you or other players have sold to vendors. It might be wise to search the buyback before purchasing an item at the shop, because it might be cheaper. By clicking the Buyback button, you can switch between Buyback and regular shop. Third, you can sort prices by both the name of the item and the cost of the item. Lastly, you can examine both items in your inventory and in the shop, which will bring up a nice little menu with more information about the item.
  5. Hmm, the more I look at it, the more it seems there's a double meaning to this phrase: "you own or have the necessary rights and permissions, without the need for payment to any other person or entity, to use and exploit" In way one of thinking, it requires that you own/have the rights and you don't need to pay anyone for those rights. But if you look at the phrase as a whole, it's saying that you are giving people the ability to get that content without payment. I'm not sure. But if that were the case, this would be talking about a Disney service, which would have its own license and agreement. Submitting stuff outside of those Disney services is not at all mentioned in this license, so who knows (?)
  6. Not sure if anyone noticed, but the Steam version of the game has a new EULA. If you've installed the game prior to the Disney buyout then you have not agreed to this new license by default, since the original EULA does not include a clause for amendments by other entities. Also not sure if this applies to the CD version, my guess is not. Notably, there is a section on "User-Generated Content" which is interesting: There's several key takeaways from this section which differ from the original game's EULA, of which I have bolded: User-Generated Content can't be "defamatory, harassing, threatening, bigoted, hateful, violent, vulgar, obscene, pornographic, or otherwise offensive." Of course, this has some room for interpretation - couldn't you argue that all mods for a game such as this are violent?Activision's original EULA mentioned that they retain all rights to any "new levels" that you create to Jedi Academy/Jedi Outcast, but this license is a bit more specific - they say they can promote the content or make derivative works, which I think is interesting. The "otherwise exploit" part is a bit scary though, I definitely wouldn't have worded it like that.By making your User-Generated Content, it has to be of stuff that you actually own (with a very large exception). Also it says that you can't charge other people for User-Generated Content or for people to help you make User-Generated Content. And lastly, there's this clause here, which basically states that you're allowed to port between any Disney Interactive games. It also says that you can create a derivative game from any Disney Interactive game, but that game is also considered a User-Generated Content. The only problem that I have with this license is basically the exact same issue as the Activision one - what qualifies as a User-Generated Content? How is it defined? That's what I want to know.
  7. Go get it. http://store.steampowered.com/sub/66986/
  8. Dunno, I think it's more of a problem with CamSP than of JK:Enhanced. There's nothing that I can think of that would interfere.
  9. Yes, we're a bit late, and yes, it's a bit of a personal one. But summer (or Winter if you're from Australia...) is right around the corner! It'd be wise to work on those projects you've got in your closet...

    Hello all!

Welcome to JKHub! You will find that we have a great selection of models and other downloads here.I If you're interested in more, you can find some at mrwonko's JKFiles Mirror.
  11. This question has been added to the Frequently Asked Questions OP.
  12. Anything that involves "web colors" will actually do. For instance, W3 has a fantastic Color Picker app. http://www.w3schools.com/colors/colors_picker.asp
  13. It's a simple block, with system/origin texture, in the center of the func_bobbing. You'll want to include this as part of that entity.
  14. Thread moved to JK Enhanced General Discussion @, it's very simple to understand. The cvar follows this pattern: xRRGGBB where R is red, G is green and B is blue. The numbers go from 0 to F. So it makes sense why xFF9999 would be pink. If you want a blue saber, you can try x0000FF or mix other colors to create a nicer color, such as x1167AA for instance. There are some online resources that you might find useful.
  15. This is complete nonsense. Have you not heard of JK:Enhanced?
  16. Added, thank you. Fixed, thank you.
  17. @@Silverfang, did you ever make progress with this? I think the weapon is also supposed to appear in JKG, is it not?
  18. @@AshuraDX / @@DT85 can this weapon be modified perhaps to use the new Ghoul2 stuff? I'd like to see more weapons using the features, and I was also thinking about making the Imperials in JK2 drop this weapon instead of having their crappy-looking Imperial Pistol.
  19. So @@DT85, I'm not sure how much more progress we made with this. Did the Lightning animations ever get done? I know that stuff is included in Jedi Academy Enhanced though.
  20. I'd say it's about a 90% chance that it's a stock photo. The other 10% of me thinks that it might be Grey Delisle, the voice actress for Alora.
  21. You can already do that in the .efx file. No code needed.
  22. I think if you press TAB after "npc spawn " in OpenJK it gives you a list of NPCs.
