Oh very nice! It is coming together really well. I especially love the head.

Then it must be the second condition since it isn't on her website, she just mentioned it in one of the threads I was reading.

Since I'm becoming a more active member of the community at least in terms of the forums, I wanted to share what it is I do. For the last several years I've run a comedy improv machinima group and we've produced two Star Wars series with Jedi Academy assets and mods. There is a website for it, providing primarily background information. It is available through this link. The first we made many years ago and it was a learning process. It started pretty rough but over time got better and better. It was called "Star Wars: Holocron" and featured students of a college based on Kamino, their rival school Mericest, and the threat of a polarized remnant. I have a trailer for it here and the youtube playlist is here. The second series is "Star Wars: Chronicles" and is still in active development. The graphical quality of this series is far higher as we started it knowing how to use JKA's engine better. There are trailers here and here and the youtube playlist is here. If anyone has interest, I thank you for your time.

Ohhh my, that is a much better video. Look at lovely T3, he's so very shiny and clean. Thanks for the reference vid!

Apparently Inyri had an 8t88 a while back, but I find no trace of it on the interwebs.
-
I am so delighted to hear about you releasing the characters one by one. It really is a good way to keep interest up and give shorter term gratification. What surprised me was to hear about all these other Proxy mods floating around. I can't find a single one, so I eagerly await this one.

so it's been one year since JKG was released..

Openjk, would that be when they released the source code for all to use? -
As more of a mod collector than one that is capable in the arts, can I thank everyone in this forum? Suggestions are made, explanations given, things are accepted... You guys are really civil and helpful and you are all awesome. Also, while it soaks up more time, I can already feel that this tie is going to be more accurate than the base game one. It'll be nice to see the fresh designs in completion.

This is mind numbingly good... Eye candy pure and simple. I wait with baited breath to play in these hallowed halls.

I really appreciated reading this and all the points raised in it. First of all, ChalklYne, I have a feeling you're going to make more progress than any of the other SWFU mods because you're accomplishing so much on your own and so graciously getting help when you can rather than depending on it. I think you'll do great. I've looked at your map progress for the Tie Facility and I am seriously impressed. Your talents are legendary and with the help of the others they're just going to get better. I can also respect the 'SP first' mentality, though I would be heart broken if it was 'SP only'. I think some of the best mods out there that I've seen I don't get to use much because they are locked into SP. The Dark Forces mod comes to mind. Mind numbingly awesome work went into it, it was beautiful, but if you tried to do anything with it in MP it crashed at once. There were so many maps I'd want to explore with friends and couldn't. SJC's Mos Kreetle preview map from JKG was a nice example of releasing something outside of the mod, so hopefully once you're satisfied with the SP experience someone can help release the maps as MP as well. Someone mentioned 'making the maps MP friendly'. What exactly goes into that? Do you strip down the scripting and add in a variety of spawn points? Are there engine differences?
-
That was my first though too, lol. That Geth model of hers is outstanding.

so it's been one year since JKG was released..

My experience was some of the maps leading up to the release being released by SJC, but I didn't even know it had been released officially. So the servers are down and that's why we're waiting for another version? -
That's a good question, though it makes me think of all the asymetrical ships out there... B-wings, the Outrider, and to an extend the Millenium Falcon, though barely. I can't remember if the starboard solar collectors slide down closer together at any point or not.
-
Even though there won't be a Rogue Shadow in that mod, I thank you for the information. I'll check it out as all new content is something I enjoy.

My goodness! You are a creative genius! That was just a few minutes? I am looking for video of his loping sort of roll, though honestly I'd be fine with a static model myself. On the search for the animations video, here is a 360 view. Alright, so when he's in motion he sort of leans down to be more streamlined and when he stops he sits upright. That can sort of be viewed in this video on youtube, but just a textured T3 would be miraculous.
-
Yeah, the texturing was always the problem. I recruited two people before, Inyri was one. For all I know you were the other, lol, but we always got stuck at the texture/animation stage. Still, I appreciate the effort. Thank you.
-
Hahaha. I can't blame you, that's about the most detailed reference image someone could come up with other than textures. I think to me the thing that sticks out most in my memory from 8T88 is his head. In the game he had very stilted movement, but there wasn't much to seperate the rest of his body from IG88 for instance. It was his beautiful, odd asymetrical head that really stood out. Camera eyes that are also projectors? Count me in. But yes, I really hope someone does make this, lol.
-
Real life is always the most important, we can't ever forget that. Still, good to have hope for future development. Thank you.

This map is amazing! I love the atmosphere, it really is perfect. Your skills are impressive. Thank you for sharing.
-
Talk about some old standbyes, both of these would be marvelous to see in game. I am so glad to see modders working together.
-
Arg, it is a shame this project came to a dead stop. Those were all fantastic ship ideas and the progress on the outrider was truly magnificent.
-
That would be a fantastic model to see. He's a very memorable character and I've been looking for a model of him for a long time.
-
Hello again one and all. In my years of testing mods, I have seen some amazing, mind blowing ship modelers out there. They never cease to amaze me. One vehicle that I've always been curious to see in game, however, is the Rogue Shadow from the Force Unleashed franchise. It does represent some issues on the scale. It reminds me of the Millenium Falcon vehicle in Academy. Not scaled correctly, but still quite big. the vehicle ocould be very useful for tie-ins to FU cutscenes and any FU mods that might be on the horizons. Anyhow, thank you all again for reading this and I welcome any feedback.

Hello one and all. This JKhub is truly an amazing place. It is good to see that the JK3 community is still alive and well after so much time, and especially after the release of the SP and MP source code. I've spent the last several years working with the JK3 engine making a machinima series and there have been an amazing bounty of mods to enrich that experience with, though there have been two assets that I have long desired to see added to the game. The first is T3-M4 from Kotor. We have a wide variety of droid vehicles in our series, turning the droid NPC's into little rolling vehicles, but so far they have all been recolors of existing models. Inyri Forge was king enough to work part way along the project a few years ago, building the model but I don't recall if it ever got to texturing and I know that there were going to be some issues with animations, that's where the project came to a stop anyhow. I'm happy to do whatever I can resource wise to help make this a reality, but my attempts at modeling have been bitter failures. Anyhow, I thank you all for your attention and any possible interest.
