A single player project for Jedi Outcast set in the after the Battle of Yavin and before the Battle of Hoth. You take on the role of a Rebel agent sent to the Bajic Sector to explore an unknown outpost that has the top brass at the Rebellion interested. *It is up to you, the player, to seek out the blank, "black textured" computer terminals to learn about what is going on here. Through this information you will be able to piece together the story. It is also up to you to take the time and look around to try and get an idea on what is going on. *This project is best played w/ the Ultimate Weapons Mod using Low Quality Effects. Also, Hapslash's Imperial Officers and Stormtroopers pack is recommended to spruce up it up a bit. *Weapons, ammo, health, and power ups are limited. There are no force powers or sabers. Ammo has also been reduced.
  3. I found a map over at Massassi I played before and copied his ending script. The closing credits take you back to main menu after they run. So, I may just have to make my own credits up, which I think someone posted about recently.. Its really awesome because the way I added it to the script the credit overlay just goes over the final cutscene, showing the brain there... its really cool. I think I'm going to leave it in just as it is.
  4. How the heck do I end a map? How do I get the game to go back to the main menu or whatever?
  5. Never thought I'd actually be at this stage, but, I'm roughly 24 hours away from actually, yes actually, submitting my project!!!! There is a project name change. Ice Station Wampa will now be called " A Plot is Brewing in The Outer Rim " I am also going to release my original map files with this project so people can make multi player maps and can add on to the SP campaign if they wish, or, use existing architecture for their own story lines. I have plenty of locked doors and areas you can't get to that just beg to be made into maps. The Readme file will explain this in more detail of what you can and cannot do but its pretty loose.
  6. The only this does, along w/ the skip system texture, is not draw anything on that brush face. Caulk-Non Solid give the hall of mirror effect.
  7. That, I'm not sure. I'll give that a whirl and repost shortly.
  8. I'd like to have my hallways that lead into the Brain Chamber have fog in them. The problem is when I connect the brushes together I can always see a seam or transition from one brush to another. Can anyone help me out with this?
  9. So lets all make a Star Wars game with it!
  10. Watching the X-Files UFO mythology episodes.

  11. I think I read before that they answered to the Emperor and not directly to Vader. Although, Vader has some interest over them as well.
  12. Maybe they'll bring him back like Christopher Pike in The Menegarie from the original Star Trek. Just replace Kirk, Spock, and McCoy w/ Palpatine, Vader, and Tarkin. One beep for yes, two beeps for no.. http://youtu.be/XY2w8KX4E_4
  13. Just watched the final episode.
  14. Well, I decided I didn't need breakable bottles because it would throw off the pattern from machine to machine if it all didn't line up properly. However, it looks like @Langerd figured it out.
  15. In the Icarus Manual it says that I set this up with path corners and the final path corner can "fire" something. Would I be able to set this to a trigger to run another script?
  16. I've always loved the show and the movies and was wondering, for those who do, what are your favorite sketches or scenes from anything Python? The Bishop is one of my favorites. http://youtu.be/gDnE-5lD7w8
  17. After watching your video link it looks like in the preview that they are fighting inside the Star Destroyer 's main reactor area or power area.
  18. In version 1.4 you should be able to uncheck the box next to "Use Win32 File Load Dialog" under Preferences/Layout and you should be able to load and save maps no problem. I have Win7 64 bit and use 1.4 with no issues.
  19. I caught part of a trailer for the last episode on the Disney Channel today while channel surfing.
  20. That makes even more sense, then.
  21. INDEX 0 { REFERENCE 01JAO001 TEXT_LANGUAGE1 "Preparing for final approach. Whatever's causing those transmissions, it's not showing up on any of the sensors. This Imperial outpost looks as abandoned as reported." } In the STRIP folder I found the text for cutscenes for each map. It looks like the reference number there is the same as the filename in the opening script. So, let me ask this to anyone who can confirm it. I'll change the filenames of my brain speech wav files to whatever the reference # is in the Kejim_post.sp file in the STRIP folder. Then, I'll make a new Kejim_post.sp file and edit those lines to reflect my new dialogue. Finally, I'll make a new STRIP PK3 w/ the modified Kejim_post.sp in it. Sound about right?
  22. What you said, err typed, was close enough to what I need to figure out. I initially thought it was to do w/ PRINT so I'm glad I asked.
  23. I think I may have to add these in to my final cutscene since the Brain sounds like a mushmouth'ed Cylon from Galactica 78'. How does one do subtitles in a cutscene?
  24. Finally re-found Kengo's Cutscene Tutorials.

  25. So this permission thing...does every texture I took from some free use site need more than a link back to the site like their instructions said? Like, I'd need written permission for those?
