Snowtrooper model port from TFU

Recommended Posts

I'm not 100% sure how much is it legal to port a model from another Lucasarts game, but if it is, would it be possible to port the Snowtrooper model from TFU to JA?

I think it's the most detailed version available (aside of DICE's Battlefront one, which I think would be above the transform space limit).

Thanks in advice, dudes!

The original game publishers probably have a different view on the matter in their EULA. That's what you should base your "legality" on.

SOURCE

LICENSE CONDITIONS

You agree not to:

-Make copies of the Program or any part thereof, or make copies of the materials accompanying the Program.

-Reverse engineer, derive source code, modify, decompile, or disassemble the Program, in whole or in part.

So you're still free to do as you please, but in terms of legality it's not ;)

Yeah, porting from other LucasArts-era Star Wars games is legal now.

I gotta say....* Claps Slowly. * Disney...you may have made some questionable choices....*Glares at Marvel* But....This...it'll help keep LucasArts era games going for a long time in terms of content. As long as it doesn't violate the EULA, that is. :)
