Daedra
How can I force a saber to be used as backhand? Is there any code I need to add to the .sab file? Link to comment
Ramikad
AFAIK the only way is to rotate the model. Kualan likes this Link to comment
Kualan
AFAIK the only way is to rotate the model. I think this might be the case too. Best bet is to take an existing backhand saber and try to 'reverse-engineer' the process for your own custom saber.See how their models, .sab files, etc are set up and try to recreate it. Solution mrwonko Posted August 24, 2015 Solution Share Posted August 24, 2015 Yeah, rotating the model is one way of getting a backhand saber, though it will probably look stupid and be useless with the normal stances. What you really want are custom animations where the saber is held backwards (which would work with unrotated models), but that's a lot of work... Asgarath83 likes this Link to comment
Asgarath83
or your download the TFU animations mod for got the backhand pose and customize animation.cfg for your personal use and needs, or your make custom animations stances. :\ Link to comment

Since the model is used to have one normal saber on left hand and one single back handed saber at the same time Link to comment
afi
There were a couple of backhand saber mods on jk3files but I don't know how they did it Link to comment
