Haha, yeah, hopefully she wont have a quireboy following her.  But this made me think about her height. She is tall.
I bet she's a head taller than any of the stormtroopers.... and are those the real costumes used in the film ??

Yes, she is tall, that's actually a specific trait of the new character. Gwendoline Christie was chosen for the role of Brianna in GoT for the same reason. And a continuation of the Star Wars tradition: there is always a tall bad guy in the film. For the Original Trilogy there always was Darth Vader, while in the prequels - count Dooku and general Grievous could boast the same height.

 

Interestingly, that another Star Wars tradition "a man behind the mask" is also preserved here. Darth Vader in OT and Darth Sidious in the prequels. In the new episodes two characters might be in this legacy: Kylo Ren and captain Phasma. I wonder how their face would be shown, I mean, would it be in the end of the film, or in later episodes? Kylo Ren seems to reveal his identity early in Episode VII. And captain Phasma might not show her face at all like Boba Fett.

 

I am looking forward to an interview with her, where she would tell us about her experience playing two different parts, a knight and a trooper in two films.

I reckon Phasma will have her helmet off when not in battle and on the ships, and just put it on when in battle. I also think she will have a talking role to command troops. I'm just glad they didn't mold out the boobs for her armor like the fan-made female Stormtroopers. While they are hot as hell, the design doesn't fit.

Watched one of (many) reviews of Episode VII trailers. It seems I was right about the black "commando" guy on the left among very different stormtroopers of the First Order.

 

Also it seems that captain Phasma is present in more than one scene in this trailer. She is also standing right by the Imperial leader to the right, when all the troopers turn around with red seal of the Order in the background.

Oh its fiberglass I didn't know that.I wonder if the famous scream will be used.Also what about the movies music all we've heard are revised themes such as the sail barge attack, binary sunset, and the intro used in bother trailers.

John Williams will be making new music for TFA.  I'm guessing the next trailer will feature one of his new melodies.

It was said, the music in the trailer is actually the one composed by John Williams. So he started working on the score for the TFA some time ago. I don't think anyone else would fit better in making music for main Star Wars films.

 

The Anthology movies are known to be working with a different composer.

You're absolutely right. John Williams for canon SW or GTFO  Star Wars is an expensive franchise, I wonder who would they hire for stand-alone films? Who can they hire?
I'm thinking, maybe Hans Zimmer, but Disney might hire someone less known for those films.

There is an interesting article about things, which might surprise us in Episode VII. I must say, the article itself presents theories only, but some are close to be true. More than that we even voiced some of the ideas here on the forums.

Be careful.

1. We might see Boba Fett. While this is most likely a joke, there was a rumor, that one person (Max Von Sydow) is playing an old veteran, who remembers the two wars. He is old and has prosthetics, and being a cyborg, he just might be the old Bounty hunter we know. I would prefer a new character though.

2. One of the classic characters dies. People say, that the pattern is present in both trilogies: Obi Wan dies in ANH, Gui Gon dies in TPM. Someone - probably Luke might become a Force Ghost then. I think, that Han Solo will die. Why? Harrison Ford asked for this for a long time. And the concept shows, that Rey is using his blaster later on. It's confirmed she has Han Solo's weapon, the reasons are unknown though. Also Chewie gets hurt by some alien thugs here.

3. People started asking, where are all the aliens? We've already discussed that a bit earlier. =)

4. Return of other Jedi from the prequels. An old rumor. Yoda as well as Mace Windu might have a cameo as holograms of Force Ghosts.

5. "The cloaked figure is from the distant past". All people try to see who is that. I am positive that's not Kylo Ren and no Phasma (she right behind the figure actually). This new villain leader might be... Who?

Wait... If Han Solo dies, then perhaps this will be the first time I see Harrison Ford's character die?!

Its definitely Han or not since I remember read that no characters die but who knows if this is actually true.Also there's been word of 3 what to be super weapons codenamed the "Sledgehammer" ,"Catapult", and "Array". Almost all of the dark lords were killed off leaving Maul, the dark acolyte Ventress, and maybe a few others such as dark jedi/dark force adepts, and maybe a handful of jedi besides Luke and Leia since shes a force sensitive.

I duno. If somone says this is the last time we see Solo, I'd imagine him flying off to horizon with the Falcon.  Though he could just sacrifice himself in a battle.

This specific rumour haunts my mind.. and I belive that anyone who's heard of this rumour, without a hesitation, thinks " oh no, not Luke/ Leia/ Han "

But there are other classic characters, like, R2D2.  What if the balldroid replaces R2 in the new trilogy? That little droid saved Padmé in TPM long time ago.

Then there is ofcourse, the golden protocol droid, C3-PO that also survived the clone wars and the rebellion against the Empire. Maybe it's time to let them go...?

Meanwhile, it was only a matter of time before some Lego sets about Episode VII would pop up.

The first is the new First Order Shuttle, seen in the trailer. It might be a fake one, but yet...

Does the shuttle have a class name yet since that one is just a lego and not a special figure like those old star wars  action fleet toys they used to make.Also in the promotional art for the movie you can see the full blown front of the shuttle with TIES escorting it.

"most likely" is not good enough to save R2's metal ass, you know that too, though it is a tradition almost, that R2 survives the events with C3PO..  guess we'll have to wait and see..

the Falcon's fate is still a rumour unconfirmed. I recall reading something about it here, maybe a text by you@@NumberWan, but I still hope Han is not part of that disaster

I still bet on the Corellian smuggler. The Falcon team is not the only ones coming back, but the death of characters like Ackbar or the Sullustan captain wouldn't have the same impact. Force Ghost is #2 in my list of probabilities, so only one guy might appear here.

 

It's not Lando, as he will appear in Episode VIII later on, no doubt about that. I hope Wedge will be in later stories, when the actor agrees to reprise the role after seeing Episode VII

The name hasn't been revealed yet, but the ship is present in the trailer, so no doubt the model does exist. The question is whether the set itself isn't a fake.

As I read this sentence I instantly thought of Episode IV original script. Some designs also speak in favor of this.
