WIP Ahsoka Tano (Reskin)

Well I wasn't really planning on posting this to get feedback because I don't really care about it that much. I started it about 2 months ago out of boredom.

 

I'm not a fan of the model itself, but I especially wasn't a fan of the original skin. I decided to touch it up a bit. I might release it but I guess if I do, I should get some decent feedback first.

 

Thoughts? This is the original.

Really? Hmm. I tried getting the most average tone from all the references. I could brighten it though.

Nice little reskin. Some of the changes are very subtle, but it really helps soften that slightly 'blank, uncanny-valley' style expression on the original model.

That was the goal.  It's subtle enough that I wasn't going to release it but I might just for kicks.

Anytime for a fellow reskinner. I'd hate to see someone as beautiful as her (yes, I love her) tarnished even by a little bit.

You know, her eyes look a little too blue. Based on the reference shots, they should be a bit greener.

I think that might just be the shots where she has her lightsaber ignited. Most of the time she seems pretty blue-eyed:

Yeah her eyes are extremely blue. I couldn't find all of the reference shots I used. There was one really good close up of her face that I can't seem to find.

If I may give some suggestions, it would be to adjust the overall skin color, as well use a less harsh opacity when doing the shadows... I would recommend doing subtle shadowing on the skin texture and use a spec map for the high points of the skins lighting...

Alright, I was in the process of finishing this up and take screenshots in-game, but I realized how poorly this model is weighted. And it doesn't have proper caps. There are also no eye-lids.

 

 

 

 

It would be nice if someone could take a look and fix these issues. Not sure if it would be a quick fix or not. I summon @@ChalklYne @@DT85 @@AshuraDX. Although I know you are all busy, this would be nice to have fixed.

Wow, tearing at the seams? That is a huge mess up on whoever made that model, it's very easy to avoid if you know the tools of the program, usually only novices experience tears at the seams.
