Bugs:

1) You may need to run com_hunkmegs 256 or 512 on this map as it's getting large.
2) If you play the map in jk2 you may need the developer version of JKMV rather than the official release so that
it does not hit max shaders issue and other max issues
3) in main room you can see a corridor through skybox. Not sure how to fix this. You can also see the boats randomly through
many skyboxes

First off love the three mountain sections.... more of that please! lol

Love that you don't really use clipping brushes much and that huge open area with the water is fun to jump around in. Also love its big enough to fly a tie-fighter in. Very good attention to detail with textures and kitchen design and creative use of in-game assets from ffa3 and other levels. Duel rooms are great and fun to duel in.

For a beta version its in great shape, only minor issues

  • Music works for me (using eternaljk)
  • Some of the lasers dont cause dmg, not sure if intended. (also not sure what one of the buttons in that room does)
  • Minor general mapping issues like a texture not aligned or small glitch with -vis

Top quality map IMO very fun.

Great map.

It is massive and still have not explored it all.  Some great climbing sections to play and although they can be quite fustrating are quite fun.

A few minor issues like some textures not showing on some of the lights I think but other than that it is fantastic.

It amazes me how much you are able to condense all into one map. There is a lot of similarity between this map and your Expedition map in terms of how you combined the themes of ancient ruins with 'modern' Star-Wars architecture. There is so much to do, I don't think I've found everything yet and I simply love how it all loops around and connects with itself. Excellent and seamless combination of different architectural styles with natural environments that don't feel flat or overdone. I really appreciate you making this map, it made me feel nostalgic for when I played this game years ago and would stumble upon a large map full of things to explore and my young mind went afloat with endless possibilities of what could be found.

The only thing I have to question is the music. I think your music choices for your previous maps like Exploration and Expedition were much more fitting than what you chose here because of how they complemented the sense of awe and wonder you would feel gazing at the unknown large areas in front of you to explore. I think that might have been what you were going for here, but I don't think it worked as well.

I really enjoy this map and have it on the JJ JK2 FFA 30FPS  server it gives me a calming peaceful feeling that makes me not want to leave. it has everything a player needs honestly, I love how I get those Jedi Academy Expedition vibes.

The map modeling is good.
Now everything is fixed, I changed my grade! I know what it's like to edit maps. Something very complicated! XD

Response from the author:

Added an arena file\script file for you. I fixed some of the missing textures although possible I missed one as it's large map.

The map is very nice and the general idea is good, The best version is 1.0 since it is the one with the best FPS, the most recent ones have FPS problems in large areas, I did not like Yoda at all, which literally has two sticks stuck in it. the hands are crucified, oh and there is a thing flying in the part of the waterfall, In any case, the map is good and entertaining, I like it, but it has things to fix, good luck with that 🙂

Response from the author:

Was aware I need to fix the Yoda statue. done. As far as fps goes I've separated the major areas in the maps. i have no doubt some areas will have low fps given I intend to expand those areas even more. My PC can run this map like 4k and 500 fps so issue is I'm not noticing it myself. Regardless, most PCs can easily handle more detail now days and 3-4 years from now when People play this map it will just even more of this case. (I doubt I will scale back areas for fps)
