  3. Nope in my opinion they are metalic and white so they reflect the light that is relfected from the sand. https://youtu.be/EZ8IyH8t7AI?t=75 - same here. The wing reflects the light from the explosion and it is 100% not transparent at all because it it full white there...

  7. This is strange ... But i think it is caused of that the vehicles in JKa were not tested at all... They are bugged in some way. You can import the model and scale it in the moddeling program (I am not sure about this however) ... You cant scale the skeleton... of course. Maybe use script? D:

I know how working with shaders is annoying ... yesterday when i compiled my map i saw that the whole map is dark , some textures were full white and everything was bugged completely. I was pissed and i was compiling the map for 4th time and still ... everything was wrong. So i thought there is a bug with the map. itself. I deleted the ,,sarlacc_duel" map and took ,,sarlacc_duel28" copied it and removed 28 to overwrite the bugged one. When compiling was going i opened shader file by mistake and so that i didnt hit enter in one place... Now everything is working So! Every time checxk the shader file because one little mistake can destroy Your whole game!

  11. Check the console. Maybe You have something not right with full shader file (for example a ,,{" in wrong place or something like this) . If You have a two shader files with the same name it can create the errors too. Maybe You have one shader file in rar. the other one in the base/shader folder. The leaves on the screens are all the same image format? If yes ... this would be strange (one are black the others green O_o ) If not make sure You are using the same shader as the Ramikad posted above and the same image format but ONLY one image with the name for your model (check the folder and the rar file if You have one). The PNG is not bad for transparent but personaly i prefer TGA. In my opinion JPG is not way to go here completely so focus on the two previous formats only.
  12. Hmm it maybe a stupid question but why the cockpit shade the shadow on the floor but the wings dont ? Cool btw!
  13. The only thing that i am think of is to just play JK with default dismemberment options. As Circa wrote the probalities for all npcs are only for arms and hands. Try that @ehloismint
  14. Check if You dont have a two files with the same name in the folder. Sometimes i make a UV layout with blender and forget to rename it because the game doesnt load the texture but this layout because it has the same name. Hmm TGA shouldnt be black i think in the game (of bugged ofcourse) it should be white.

  16. But what format of these leaves? And for Your information the bamboo leaves worked without adding the shader into the shaderlist (as i made the screenshots) Just use the same shader as i added everywhere. And one question - Are You working right now with MP or SP only? Because the Multiplayer doesnt read files from folders - only rar. The leaves in gtkradiant will be not transparent but in the game they should be

  20. Ok @Asgarath83 listen i checked Your models and one of them is HUUUGE amount of verts. But this is not the topic here The textures on the models looks fine. I will make a quick shader and just place this plants in my small test map and i will try find the best way to make it right . (I am sure that it could be a problem because of the shaderlist)

  23. http://wrzucaj.net/ - here is this site About the transparent shaders it can be only 3 ways (they can be more i know only these) : -shader with using the TGA which just is saved by transparent image -shader with using the PNG which is saved by transparent too but in JK3 i think it works with white -Jpeg works with black. Using this You can not only make an transaprent overlay but whole texture transparent I dont know about shaders and i dont have photoshop... I just see how the default original shaders are made i just copy the lines and paste them into my shaders. In 70% times this method works but it is kinda noobish... (i dont care about HOW i care about finished result btw )
  24. 1. WOW what is that? O_O (iu will google) 2.About shaders i am not an expert... i have some troubles with them too. Maybe check the shader files fro original assets and see how they made them.
  25. Hmm I think it will only works with normal dismemberment option. If You have g_morerealistic on 3 or 2 it wont work i think. When i am installing the Academy the default options for dismemberment is that i can cut only the hands and arms. Try using the default options for it and change the probality in your npc that you want. It should work
