  1. After a much needed hiatus. I have finally decided to release an update to the MatMoura Kyle I submitted. I added my own custom Team Skins, thought that would be nice, I've also added in Bot support and new icons.

    I am also planning to release a new update to the MatMoura Jaden I submitted to add in Team Skins, Bot Support, new icons, and perhaps maybe a new patch for if you want to use it with Jaden Korr "Remastered" from MOVIE DUELS. And I have done the same for Rosh.

    All the team skins will be submitted once the time is right.

    In the meantime, enjoy these preview screenshots. The team skins were made using GIMP and Paint dot net.

    Remember, you are free to use the mod how you want to use it. But please keep the readme intact.

    I would also like to credit @ZanderNao for making five of the Team Skins, he deserves the credit for those, I only made one out of six Team Skins. I will not release these Team Skins until they are Ready! So, early access for now.

    [UPDATE] I may not be active during the month of June. Don't take this offensively, I just want to take a month-long hiatus, because I was taught a helpful piece of advice.

    Here goes. I'm gonna say this from an anonymous source.

    "Forcing a schedule onto yourself for a hobby project and not knowing if you can actually dedicate constant time to it (due to other things in real life taking priority, like real jobs) is either going to lead to a decline in quality, a burnout or both."

    So, while I'm on hiatus as of June 3rd, 2025, do not expect any submissions to the site. I need my space. Thank you, take care.

    Another Sabers pack and an updated version of the Brave Lightsaber, in the meantime, enjoy a little snippet of what I have so far. And the missing four sabers are going to be in a bundle of their own, but in the meantime, look forward to Dash Rendar's saber outside of the package, and the custom sabers pack includes Commando and Smuggler.

    Currently I'm trying to finish my Massiff model, here's how the sculpt I did looks like! Once I was finish with the overall look, I had to create a low poly version of the model so that I could texture it for the game.

    I think it looks overall pretty nice, but my main goal is to make this a Rend2 friendly model, here's how it would look right now with PBR textures:

    Now, modelling is only half the battle. This week I've been mainly doing the weight painting and hand-animating this creature, here's a preview of my walk cycle:

    Hey everybody, it has been some time since my last update and I was feeling the itch to give news regarding the stuff I've been working on lately. Even though my online presence has been lacking lately, I have been working non-stop on projects and helping people with their own mods. Unfortunatedly, and by no fault but my own, this has been at the expense of my own ideas and the things that I actually want to release, like my Tusken cultural pack, my own Bounty Hunting singleplayer mod and of course my contributions to JKGalaxies. 

    On that regard, I hope to release my Tusken pack soon enough, I only need to finish the Massiff model and maybe create some culture-related assets (I always welcome ideas that help with this aspect). For this purpose I actually took a break in modelling these things because I wanted to familiarize myself with a good methodology to produce high quality assets, for that reason I started developing simple assets that at first I textured for base JKA but as time went on I started experimenting with Rend2 and, oh boy, I can't go back now.

    This was a fun project I made last year because I was tired of everybody using only the vanilla datapad. If you have a keen eye, you might notice this is the datapad Anakin uses in Revenge of the Sith and it looks a lot like the original Game Boy Advance. I had been thinking on using this model as an immersive menu interface for my singleplayer mod, who knows if it'll end up being used.

    This was a throne I modelled for Zander_Nao's map (which you can download here https://jkhub.org/files/file/4277-red-comet-hall/ ). I don't recall if Zander asked for a specific throne, but I didn't want a map with a unique aesthetic to rely on a base asset, so I made a throne based on his requirements (it was inspired by a SWTOR asset I think). I really liked how the gold bits ended up looking like.

    I have been working on a bunch of tool models that are lore-friendly to the Star Wars universe. This is a cutting torch, as seen in behind the scenes photos of Luke tools in A New Hope. This was one of my first attempts at making an asset rend2-friendly.

    Once I was satisfied with the results I fell in a downward spiral regarding texturing my assets.

    For the duelling map contest I wanted to make Thrawn's office as seen in Star Wars Rebels, but I ran out of time so I didn't upload anything for the date. One of the things I really wanted to make for this map were the art pieces in his collection and for that I started working on Hera's Kalikori. This was an excellent piece to work at, because it fulfills all my desires when creating assets: its a piece representative of a culture in star wars, its made of an interesting material (wood), and it can be reused by people who enjoy roleplaying and need something to develop their character further.

    You might notice that most of the stuff I do aren't actually weapons or combat related stuff, which is because even though this is a lazer sword wiggling game, I feel like Star Wars itself is something beyond just random violence, and to make an enviroment truly immersive you need to be able to tell a story that isn't just reductive of its hostile elements. The more I learn about our own history as a species, the more I realize that culture is something far beyond weapon type A or B, and its enriched more and more by things like types of dress, pottery, ritualistic tools and more. In a way, I hope to help enriching the game with this kind of things that, even though its all fiction, will make things feel more real in the long term. 

    This is so relaxing.

  6. The Dash Rendar Lightsaber is now out.

     I now am also proud to announce the release of Hud Icons for a mod by @AshuraDX.

    And I want to inform everyone of a project I had been secretly working on, I'm sorry for absolute secrecy behind this one, but ever wonder what it'd possibly be like if Kyle Katarn from Spirits of the Force would look like in Jedi Academy?

    I'm holding off on releasing this mod due to it's... Way to simplistic detailing. I assembled most of the new textures in GIMP then compressed them using Paint dot net. I will not be taking all the credit for this one, this model has textures made by @MagSul, @Kalek, @Joshua, @GPChannel, Infinity Blade, and plenty more. The icon was made by JC of the Spirits of the Force series of Fan Films. This reskin will be exclusive to Google Drive unless otherwise. I want to thank everyone for supporting my files, and/or files I contribute to. It really makes me happy!

    I also have worked on an answer to a question that might be bothering some people. "Where is the holster on Vanilla Kyle?" Well, I want to let you all know that I have my own response to aforementioned question, but I won't release it here, not until I get permission to release it here.

    IMPORTANT: There is a bug with the Student_NM on my end, one of his saber blades malfunctions.

    5 new meshes are in the works. 4 of these sabers already exist (Aeryn, Aria, Emerald Knight and Sniper) while 1 is my own creation (Brave)

    [KYLE SOTF UPDATE!]
    The skin is finally semi-finalized. For anyone who has preferred past versions. I want to apologize, but this time, I promise to make this one the near final release.

    I have also successfully, in my own terms, finished my remake mesh of HOUOU's Sniper Hilt, now I just need to get textures for it.

    I want to thank @Droidy365 for supplying me with the textures needed to make the rough draft for the saber I dubbed "Brave" I tested it out in game, and it works phenomenally. I want to seek out a tweaker, but there's gonna need to be shaders first.

  7. I've made my own model requests topic in case you guys are wondering. So, before anyone asks, I did this on my own accord. Thank @Lancelot for giving me the idea. I will give requests one post at a time.

    This first post is going to be more of a call for help for a MD patch for Kyle Katarn (MatMoura Design) based on the MD Kyle Katarn. I tried myself to make the model, but I don't have the time or patience. I'm not gonna impose any deadlines, but this first post is a call for help. (Credits to DT85, @GPChannel, MD Team, @Tompa9 for the latter and credits to @Noodle for the former)

    The first picture will be the model I usually use and the second model will be the model I need new textures for.
