  1. I was thinking a hologram from a panel popping up and people giving him missions, although that's insanely complex. Him just interacting with the control panel, a few angle changes and then using a slave map object I have flying off, towards a planet with a few angles as a transition too the mission.I really want to give the impression your travelling in your ship from planet to planet.

  3. Thanks barricade I hope it isn't like academy by the time I've finished, scum, villianry, bounties and alien monsters, a darker theme and no lightsabers. Not one. Your support is good enough, I'm not sure of your skill set but I will ask for help if your up to it.
  4. So I've had a go at my first patch meshs. It's Slave1's cockpit.relatively small map just for cinematics/ the mission select screen. I'm rather happy with it. also could this thread be moved to the mod project forum @ staff member
  5. Hey I have a decent slave 1 model, It has a cockpit that I want to use in my mod in a map. If i provide the model and textures, could someone convert it to a md3? I have been trying to make one out of patch meshes in radiant but it hasn't been working out for me.
  6. I could try playing with the shaders. I use a amb and a spec shader and it makes the colours and details "pop" a bit more, I'll have to test the model ingame first. But all in all i suspect it will look fine.

  8. Starting a map and a preview of concepts: a menu background, animated concept (therfiles?) my first map, my rangefinder and hud. I hope to get this off the ground.

  10. Mainly to do with weapons really. I want to make weapons that are only used by the player, knee darts, tracking jetpack rocket,wrist-darts, wrist-laser, wrist-rocket. His jetpack to work more like force jump, with a fuel meter. The rangefinder to go down with some weapons, like when locking on to targets with the wrist rocket/ jetpack rocket. I've got two surfaces for the rangefinder one up one down, I've also split the jetpack rocket from the jetpack in preparation for these sort of features. Perhaps ledge climbing and cover vaulting, and real first person view, like in mb2. Hope that's sensical and answers your questions. If not ask more. I am a complete novice with coding. Stellar work on Jedi Knight Galaxies by the way.

Thanks Jolly, I have been waiting for it myself for many years, but there wasn't any boba model I was truly impressed with since quake2, So I edited corto's to get what I was after and thought I'd share. I was waiting for a boba tc for some game for years and I think I will be disappointed, So I am having a crack at my own.

  13. That's a fine idea but really I need a coder or two before even starting. I could make some levels to show off the feel of the game, though. Their will be no jedi in this project to take ovah.

  15. Now that I have a few wookie braids on my shoulder, I have decided to undertake the Bounty Hunter sequel. It's a large project and a lot of work, most of it falling on myself. But I need you! It will feature as many weapons and tools as I can fit that the infamous bounty hunter, Boba Fett uses to capture bounties and destroy his employer's enemies. I will make new maps and animations, enemies rivals and bounties, now that the fett is complete. Who I'm looking for to complete the hunt: coders. One or two, must be competent at weapon creation and other mechanics menu designers scripters and perhaps some mappers. This will be about twelve levels long and if I can get some of the required people in I'll say more as too what the features are. If you have ever played bounty hunter, that is the style I am going for.

    This is my final work on The infamous bounty hunter, Boba fett. based of of corto's model.It replaces the default sp fett. To use, type in the console playermodel boba_fett / jodo_kast / boba_esb. features: shiny shaders blinking heart monitor removable rocket jetpack straps rangefinder, toggleable better proportions jetpack and flamethrower tags removable helm new cape and pouches esb,rotj(default) and Jodo kast skins You will need to make skins for some toggleable options. Modview is your friend. I'll release a single player menu version when I complete my mando pack.It will have a jango and clonewars male and female models included Enjoy - Mandalorian.
  17. Neat I'll have to try alchemy and search omnisphere.Your right about useing a line in and audacity, It's a pain.I think more people should write music from their minds, It is unique.
  18. cool I'll look into it. I'm a guitarist myself albeit self taught. I always go for ambient delay efx. I re listenend to your palpatine impersonation, Some of it is quite good but other parts are a bit to accented? Not sure how to put it. I'm thinking of doing a few Boba Fett impersonations for a map I'm working on, going for the old school voice. I can do some fairly decent american accents despite being Australian, seeing as American propoganda has saturated my culture I am not surprised at this.
