  1. Aye.

    1. Found out from the news of the src code release, and from lurking on JACoders irc

    2. A bit annoying, as for some reason it didn't like being introduced to about 400 pk3s at once, and sometimes it would break when installing new versions (fixed 99% of the time by deleteing My Games folder)

    3. Aye

    4. Add more chat/name colour codes

  2. @@Barricade24 one thing we're wanting to do is bring more enemies to the maps, and we will probably have more variety as well. The only issue I have with that is that it's not consistent with the films. You never see any of those special troopers, just stormtroopers and officers. But perhaps we could implement some of those.

What you could do though, is have stormtroopers who wear virtually the same amour, but have differences depending what weapons they 'specialise' in. Eg, standard troopers with e-11's would wear normal armour, troopers using heavy weapons like rocket launchers could have a large backpack on, like the sandtrooper has, and maybe some ammo belts around their torso, snipers could have ammo packs on the front of their ammo and maybe legs too, etc.

It would help add more variety to troopers, but still keep them pretty similar.

    Circa and Bek like this
  3. It is almost always clickbait, and 9 times out of 10 half the articles are just old news they've already reported on, OR are articles that are promoted as being legitimate news, but are just fan speculation or fake nonsense.  I'm not saying that fan-made things are inherently bad, but tricking readers into viewing something by claiming it to be something else is.  I understand it is a site meant for discussion, but they need someway to filter the fan content from the actual news, I shouldn't have to click-through just to find out if something is worth reading or not.

Also, "Will's War"...fuck that guy, I'll click on what seems to be news on casting or some film announcement, only to be taken to a damn "Will's War" video where he just rambles on.  But I suppose that hatred should really be directed at whatever thunder-cunt runs their Facebook page, since rather than linking to an article with the video embedded, they'll use one of those bit.ly links to hide what they're actually sending you to.

And basically anyone can join and write for the site, I've seen people get offered positions in the comments over the silliest statements.  What this means is, there is little to no quality control, and no guarantee that what you read is valid.

I'll stick with IMDB thank you.
