How daunting was the OpenJK project when it started, and what was the first task you set out to do with the game's sourcecode?

So let's say I wanted to rip the Z-6 rotary cannon from moviebattles II. How would I get in into my game's system WITHOUT replacing another weapon?

You would need to edit the code to make it an extra weapon.

It makes me want to CTRL + A and delete.

I usually have it more organised, but lately I have been quite lazy, but I may install fences soon which will help clean it up.

Are...are you serious?  I use it as a workspace, but when I'm done, I move the files to the proper folders. Can't stand when people keep all their files on the desktop. That's what the hard drive folders are for.

Dont worry Im not going to release it with SJE  . I just needed a model with a spinning barrel for testing, Thats why im asking if anyone can make one or maybe someone knows where i could download a replacement ?

 

I cant make models or maps,this is why my mod doesn't have any models or maps,I can get my head round pretty much everything else.

Could you send me that model in a pm?
