  1. You wont miss the stuff with 1.4 unless you're fully familiar with it, things like multi-surface select in 1.5... Dear god.
  2. Only that it's not as good as 1.4.0.
  3. Could cheat it and have the door as a camera portal (looking exactly where the normal door looks) which teleports the player to a physically bigger room (which is actually elsewhere on the map) Would have to remove teleporter effect for best transition.

  12. Gonna throw together an xmas addon for nightfall which can be used as a small patch if you want a more xmasy themed game ;D Any suggestions for material to include?
  13. Pretty sure. "No results found" for all seeing eye. Tried by starting in downloads and searching. Also tried your blue button thing. Nada. Also thats not very intuitive, why not just have it search everywhere - i had no idea you could even click that blue thing until now! Just tried it again.

  17. That is also true. Never done one before, but yes true. Still have to reload the map each time you recompile though haha, whereas script changes happen instantly or with map_restart
  18. It'll be out in like...an hour lol. Having said that all the areaportalled doors are single swingers, and i just went back to doing it w/o parms. Mostly because I can then edit the scripts without having to recompile the map again yes, lazy. parms as you describe would work fine - but ive simply gone with the 2 trigger method, each calling a different script for door orientation. I just adapted the scripts to ensure theres no potential overlap by extending the timers and ensuring doors arent getting blocked. I tried for a good 10minutes to get a bug and didnt manage it so I'm happy with it atm. If it does need looking at again because someone finds a way of breaking it that I cant figure out then I'll look at it again. The big one really was to sort out the crash bug with unpatched SDK mods because that might be a problem for quite a few users.
