  2. I do indeed have the ending of Volume Four planned out. I won't go into details for spoilerific reasons, but for every volume I always have an end point in mind. Sometimes the details change based on how the story evolves with each issue, but it always remains the same basic premise. As for who is the centre of the story - for Volume Four, there are three main characters. Sarella Drayson, Railas Tok and Mace Windu. These are the characters whose backgrounds, developments and evolutions will be the focus of the story. And I hope to add Mas Amedda and Sly Moore at some point! The next issue is nearly ready to go, but literally fifteen minutes after I finished the last page on Monday night my house suffered a powercut and I can't get back on the PC. Typical! Just waiting for the problems to be fixed.

  13. Had this a couple of times when I was first doing it, and it was ALWAYS something had not been correctly transferred in the hierarchy over from the second model. Check and double-check everything's Object Name and Object Data (which means no surface should have .001 at the end of it) and ensure they are correctly named. Also check the parent is correct. Most of the time it occurred because I had renamed the new surface (for example, head_face) from head_face.001 but forgot to delete the original one. What this does is then rename the original head_face to the head_face.001 (effectively swapping them over instead of replacing the original). This results in a loose unassigned surface floating in the hierarchy. If this is the case, just track it down and delete it.

    This is a player model (with NPC support) of the bounty hunter Embo. To install the model, simply extract the zzzzzEmbo PK3 to the gamedata/base folder of your Jedi Academy directory. In-game, an allied NPC can be spawned with the console command 'npc spawn Embo'. An enemy NPC can be spawned with the console command 'npc spawn EmboEnemy'.

So @@Circa , just an update on Embo - neomarz1 either doesn't have email notifications on, or is no longer using the email address associated with his JKHub account, as the site is saying he has not returned recently nor read my PM yet. Does this constitute fair and reasonable attempts being made to contact the original author of part of the model (in this case, the hat) or do I need to do more / wait longer? Everyone else - Embo is now packaged and ready to go once this final roadblock is resolved. His NPC file includes both an ally version ('npc spawn Embo') and an enemy one ('npc spawn EmboEnemy'), He uses the CultistCommando class for both, which mean he leaps and flips around a lot in an acrobatic way in the same style as he does in the TV series. It's pretty cool fighting through a bunch of enemies with him at your side!

  20. Glad you like it. Just a quick question - does anyone know if Neomarz has a standing policy on using/crediting his work? At the moment he is the only user I've been unable to contact for permission to use the hat from his Dark Adept model with Embo. Once I have that permission he can be released.
  21. You can keep the current heads or delete them, either way will work - just be sure the new head(s) match up with their Object Name and Object Data details. It takes slightly longer to work around, but keeping the current heads gives you more customisation options with the final model as you can switch between which head surface is used by a model in the .skin file.
  22. I've only added the one head as it was all I needed for my comic's purposes. However before the model is packaged and released I will add the other two Jedi_HM heads to it. There is a roadblock with the Agent models however - the brunt of the work on the bodies was done by a member of the now-defunct Legacy RP community. Tracking down the creator to ask for permission could prove tricky. The Imperial Officer variants will be much less difficult to release however.
