  1. I'm open to suggestions on an alternative head. Good shout! Also, loving the new profile picture. Got any more screenies to show off? Also folks, I had the last week off work which is why I went a little WIP-crazy. Back tomorrow though, so here's the final batch of concepts for the immediate future. An updated Adi Gallia. Probably will be the next model I release. Just needs a bit of reskinning for the torso (Gallia has a low-cut tunic so I need to skin some...well...skin onto there): A customisation pack for female Mandalorians: And for some more male Mando's, featuring heads from the KOTOR pack:
  2. I wasn't aware that JKB had officially closed down, shame that. Did the team ever release their WIP files?
  3. The Hutt models come from Star Wars Galaxies, KOTOR and even Star Wars Kinect! They are not ported into JA just screen grabbed from an external model viewer.
  4. I'm happy to be proven wrong if the result is a new SP mod to play, but there's not much in the OP that suggests a specific plan or agenda to the project. OP, maybe break it down some more. Locations that would need to be mapped, characters to be featured. Give any potential recruits an idea of what this project would demand of them
  5. Maps, models, coding/scripting. Those are the pillars for any mod of this scale and ambition. For it to have a chance at coming to fruition, the requester needs to be able to bring at least one of those to the table themselves. Are you able to provide any of those, OP? I fear your proposal is doomed to failure without it.
  6. For the Rebels fans: It isn't wholly screen-accurate (most notably the helmet), but I 'Sithed' him up a little, I'm also having trouble texturing the Imperial insignia onto the shoulder pads due to distortion, but I'll work on it.
  7. Could you show it, si vou plais? Also does anyone know of any good models that have an evening gown/dress. Could use it for another upcoming model.
  8. It is indeed a reskinned helmet from the Imperial Guard as ported by Lt Claim. The ridge along the top (and the additional ceremonial crest in the robed version) are added from a WoW model. Have you sourced a different Senate Guard helmet from somewhere? With great care. Yes, as said in the post several of the models contain ported material by Claim. When the time comes to release them I'm going to consult with the Hub's staff to see if these models meet the terms and conditions of the website (since they contain ported material, but the ported material is modified and not in its original state so I don't know what the policy is). I don't intend to cause a stir - if the Hub does not wish to host them then I will release them privately instead.
  9. Update time! Here are the models I've been working on recently, mostly for my comic series as usual but I've also knocked up a robeless commando version of the Senate Guard as requested: Amelia Jendri has received an update to the Neomarz head she had been using before, now using the Gweth head and featuring a skin modified from one used in the RPMod community: The Senate Commando, containing ported material from TFU courtesy of Lt Claim: Sarella Drayson's Bounty Hunter Disguise, blending elements of Zam Wessell's kit and the Imperial Knight armour: Traylis Gregar, a Quarren mercenary who will feature in an upcoming issue of Tales From The Clone Wars: Railas Tok (Desann model) kitbashed with a ported SWTOR Mandalorian armour set, and reskinned to a new colour scheme: Thoughts and feedback always welcome.
  10. Also, I've put a poll on the Imperial Shipyards for people to vote on which CW-era bounty hunter they would like to appear in the next issue : http://www.imperialshipyards.net/SMF/index.php?topic=9503.0
  11. Heh, thanks. The armour is from SWTOR, though I reskinned the colour scheme.
  12. Issue 9 - Hutt Diplomacy - is now uploaded to the site!
  13. Aha! Thank you for pointing that out. It used to be .com but yes, the OP needs an update!
  14. I do indeed have the ending of Volume Four planned out. I won't go into details for spoilerific reasons, but for every volume I always have an end point in mind. Sometimes the details change based on how the story evolves with each issue, but it always remains the same basic premise. As for who is the centre of the story - for Volume Four, there are three main characters. Sarella Drayson, Railas Tok and Mace Windu. These are the characters whose backgrounds, developments and evolutions will be the focus of the story. And I hope to add Mas Amedda and Sly Moore at some point! The next issue is nearly ready to go, but literally fifteen minutes after I finished the last page on Monday night my house suffered a powercut and I can't get back on the PC. Typical! Just waiting for the problems to be fixed.
  15. I'm liking that droid, good job. Where is the torso armour/chest piece from?
  16. This ported material of yours has been done by Lt Claim over on the MB2 forums. Why not just direct people there instead of canvassing for PMs here?
  17. I'm sat in a power cut right now so can't search my models folder but got this screen shot from my comic which shows the model I mean. Also shows a female variant -
  18. There's an updated Imperial Knight armour model floating around the 'Net, just so you know.
  19. I made it very clear when I PM'd you the model that it was not my work, but that I didn't know who made it. I do not wish to be credited for something I didn't make.
  20. Just to clarify, I meant I could make a body for Mas through kitbashing, not his head.
  21. I'm sure I could cobble something together for Mas via kitbashing anyway, fear not.
  22. Some more WIPs:
  23. Preview from Volume 4, Issue 9:
  24. I have a couple of projects in the works at the moment. Having Internet trouble though so can upload screenshots right now.
  25. Had this a couple of times when I was first doing it, and it was ALWAYS something had not been correctly transferred in the hierarchy over from the second model. Check and double-check everything's Object Name and Object Data (which means no surface should have .001 at the end of it) and ensure they are correctly named. Also check the parent is correct. Most of the time it occurred because I had renamed the new surface (for example, head_face) from head_face.001 but forgot to delete the original one. What this does is then rename the original head_face to the head_face.001 (effectively swapping them over instead of replacing the original). This results in a loose unassigned surface floating in the hierarchy. If this is the case, just track it down and delete it.
