    I have messed with this model as well and can say it looks terrible once you reduce the vert count.

    Chopper from the Tv show Rebels. I've turned him into a player model for the movie makers out there, if you use a saber with him it looks bad. NPC support included type npc spawn chopper.

    You can do it by entity modding it and it's fairly easy.
