I was wondering if someone could make me a frankenstein model... It's "easy", i only want the head to be changed...

The only problem is that i didn't find a good TWI'LEK MALE head to ask you guys (to make it easier). Which leads me to my second request... I not only need a frankenstein model but i also need the head to be make. The reason i didn't like the twi'lek heads we already have in this site or on other sites is because they're too big and all that...

That model was made for jedi outcast, so you need that proper _humanoid.gla from jedi outcast.

So... I've tried it but got some problems with the ModView!

The skin i retextured has 72 bones and the ModView doesn't open it, how can i fix it?

It could be intimidating at first and for sure will be frustrating, but the best way is to determine a model or skin you want really bad and put all your efforts on that (forget about other models for the mean time).

 

When I started here, I saw the amazing work of people like Scerendo, Seven, Jeff, Kualan, dark_apprentic just to name a few and thought the same thing about myself. But I turned that intimidation on inspiration and gave a try and haven't stopped since. 

 

Furthermore, I am a fan of certain character (now considered Legends). Although there are a few good models here, I felt those models were starting to show their age and wanted newer or improved versions. Unfortunately not too much people no was interested in this character so i thought I would have to settle with the old versions.

 

Again, I turned that into inspiration and started some  kitbashes until I felt more confident and tried to Port some models with practically no knowledge, just studying other models). At times it was so frustrating I even quit and stopped playing JKA and went back to other games for a few months. Then came back with a fresh mind and ideas, and now have almost every version of that character to play with.

 

So, give it a chance, you might

- be better than you think

- learn a lot in the process

- have some fun

 

For sure won't be easy, but you will enjoy the satisfaction in the end.

Oh boy... I see you have had an exciting idea...

Looking at the picture, I see a great alternative to the Shadowtrooper. It's menacing and mysterious at the same time. It could be achieved through kitbashing. We already have the models available, so

it shouldn't be that difficult to those who know how to do it.

 

Also, the character reminds me of Gray Fox from Metal Gear Solid.

I have one for blue/Tavion, and will make a yellow/Desann, and one for duel wielding.

Since I've started rapier fencing I was thinking of making a couple of stances to go with this. Once it's out I'll test them out.

Reinstalling the game won't be of any help: this error is due to the naming of a model in a custom map you're trying to load. To fix it, you could contact the author and ask him to fix the name so it works in singleplayer too, or you could open up the .pk3 file which contains the model and delete it (although the model itself will disappear from the map). You could also try using OpenJK, although I don't know if this is fixed. Other than that, I don't know.

Can someone please help me out with this error? It already happened twice this week and i had to uninstall the game and then install it all over again... I don't want to do that again so i would like to ask for help!

Any chance you can scale the model down a bit? It's fairly large for a one-handed.

 

Setting it's styles to Tavion and Dessan's in the .sab file would be fitting.

Well... I'm totally okay with it's size so far. I wouldn't ask for any changes at all.

But if you want the saber for ya, and a little smaller, pm him!

Damn... It's awesome!! what a beautiful hilt.... I already fell in love with it xD     

EDIT: About the saber's blade, i'm using the rebels' blades mod, so it's a tiny saber blade already. I don't really care about it's size, i just want the hilt. Of course, the more it looks like a real rapier the better it will be, but Psyk0Sith is doing a great, amazing, beautiful job!!!
