  1. If you like I have this water shader lying around somewhere: Looks pretty damn good when it's moving around ingame. I can't take all the credit, it's an improved (if I do say so myself) version of something by Darth Norman.
  2. The waist and legs are very skinny compared with the upper body.
  3. Hmm, if I made a multiplayer version of Festive Rampage (which used to just be a simple singleplayer mod) that was like a miniature christmas-themed version of Medium of Darkness (classes, character upgrades, objective gameplay) would anyone be up for hosting a few games at some point?
  4. Hmm, should I make a legitimate attempt at my Festive Rampage mod this year? I've failed to complete it on time on two separate occasions so far... Although the first time round I only gave myself 6 days to do a complete singleplayer overhaul; got a remarkable amount done too. Edit: I've found all my old assets, therefore the answer is yes.

  6. The colour scheme and rampiness reminds me of a Perfect Dark map.
  7. The neck shape is still wrong. As it stands if you attached that to a body the head would be leaning back from the shoulders, where as for a relaxed stance it should be slightly forward of the shoulders.

  9. Ye- well, sort of. Simulating dynamics is confusing the crap out of me at the moment, I've been working on the interface components to take a bit of a break. The physics are currently about on a par with Pong...
  10. Well now I'm working on text input and general user interface stuff. Absolutely necessary but terribly boring, so don't expect any interesting media for a bit.
  11. I don't remember if I already asked, but how closely does this resemble the layout of the original? Verschneit was probably my favourite MoH:AA map.
  12. As a few of you already know, I've been using my wizard uber-coding hax to do some interesting stuff over the last few months; creating a game engine (almost) from scratch, to be more precise! If anyone wants to watch what I'm up to, have a look at: http://www.moddb.com/engines/redsky-engine You can expect that to be updated fairly frequently from now on, and hopefully some kind of game announcement (other than 'Achtung Minen!', which was a concept I dropped ages ago in favour of something much more interesting, though I may go back to it afterwards) in a little while. Beta gameplay by the end of the year, perhaps? We'll see.
  13. I recoded the HUD for Medium of Darkness to adjust it's width depending on the resolution, looks just fine. The only thing is I had to write some HUD-specific alignment code to get it to position things on the correct side of the screen, might be a bit tricky to do the same for the default HUD.
  14. I thought the point of UDK was to cut down on technical difficulty involved in creating a game. If you have to take two courses to use it effectively then they've obviously failed.
  15. I've never actually played Hydroball before, but if it have a server I'll definitely be up for it.

      That's not strictly correct though, multiplication and division have the same weight, as do addition and subtraction.
