Hey, I've been a lot of years on this site and this is still my first status update!
I just wanted to tell you guys that at the beginning of the year I worked on modding the Xbox versions of Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy, and I wanted to show you my results:
Since we don't have any tools to convert the models, maps and other files to the Xbox version you can only do command mods like cheats and so on. Also, the tools we have to pack and unpack the Xbox archive files (.GOB) don't work either, at least for packing. I discovered that they work correctly until a certain file and then the rest gets corrupted. So unless someone creates a code where you don't really need these format files to pack everything there and can read the files from outside then nothing else can be done.
Ironically, the Kotor games (which have no official tools and no source code) are way more moddable on the Xbox, since the community created some tools that allow you to convert models and maps to the Xbox version. Here's my experiments with them:
Hope you find this information useful, and if you have any questions or any other knowledge I may have missed please post it!
