  1. You say it looks fine in Modview? Could I have a screenshot to try and diagnose the issue?

No need my friend, I did some reconfiguring and am almost done fixing it. I have no idea what the hell happened but I manually flipped every normal after reimporting the file as a GLM.

Whatever I did fixed it, just going to take some ingame screens, make a few final tweaks, and be done. ;)

  2. 3 guesses from me,

    1. either the normals are inverted

    2. too high polygon count?

    3. are they welded correctly?

    1) Prolly the normals. I had a lot of trouble with them when I was making the actual helmet.

    2) nope, all under 1K.

    3) not quite sure what you mean.

  3. The weighing might be a bit borked on the neck, I could probably fix it (and explain how I did).

Lemme add: works fine in modview and the textures are all good. Also the textures of the front sgow when viewing in normal 3d person view.
  4. Well it depends on what kind of menus they'll be having.

Like for example: NPC selection screen. Will ALLL the NPCs be present in one screen? Or will they be divided by era ---> faction?

I feel like the main menu should be something bold. Something unique. I feel like it should be darker. Not the typical JA blue.

  5. I am completely calm. You just made a snarky remark about modeling being easy for even a 4 year old. Now you backtrack saying "but this "so easy" was actually pretty hard when I was new."

Why not just leave positive and constructive feedback? Or do you just enjoy to belittle people?

You. Stop. You chose to take it that way. Just stop responding if you're going to continue bickering. There's no need for this.

And besides, I'm helping the Punisher with something right now so MAYBE if y'all quit fighting he'll showcase it when it's ready.

  6. Hey guys sorry for lack of updates still hard at work on sculpting Kanan just taking my time and doing it properly. Now I did re-do the head a good few times from scratch and its starting to dawn on me as I keep leaning into how the show looks with elongated features like head and such its just not cutting it with the Jedi Academy style/game I'll be spending the next few days sculpting a more realistic Kanan that is more suited to what I want go with it will defiently look/feel like him just not so dramatic like my previous sculpts. Sorry for the hold up!

  7. Woah, and that would be it ? Well thanks a lot for that! Unfortunately I don't know a lot of people, skinners and such, around, but if there is someone reading this that is generous enough and able to do it, I would be very glad

Promise I'm not telling you do it yourself because that's douchey and useless, but once you start it's not as scary as you think. In blender literally all it is is assigning pieces of the model to certain vertex groups in blender. ;)

  8. Hi JKHub!

I'm installing Blender on to my laptop.  I have it on my desktop and everything works perfectly.  I install Blender and the plugins but when I try to import a model, I get this:

Can someone help me fix this?  I've tried comparing my set up with Blender on my desktop vs my laptop and I can't figure it out.  Thanks!

Make sure you aren't in edit mode when importing/exporting.

I get that error when I try exporting in edit mode.

    Hope that helps. :)
