  1. So we could actually compile the xbox-game including all it's features (e.g. spiltscreen)?
  2. A better idea would be waiting for a legit standalone and port it so we don't get problems with Disney/Activision/Raven or whoever.

  4. Everything The point of openArena (based on the Q3-sourcecode) was to recreate all assets that are in the game so you were able to release the game for free without people suing you (coz the code is opensource, but the assets (maps, models, gfx etc) are not,)
  5. Awesome, I just had the idea making this a community project where everyone can contribute assets.
  6. Are we actually allowed/able to create a whole new game with this (as long as we don't use original assets of course)? Like openArena for Jedi knight. (I'd totally go for that)

  10. I just had some free time and decided to give it a new try but still no success... does anyone have an idea why it won't work? I mean, Q3 and JKA are not THAT different <.< (And yes, I got the different playerstate/entitystate)

  16. We always used the term "ghosting" for the bug that makes you able to go through the enemies model. But if he means the sv_fps thing, you're right with what you wrote.

  21. I don't think that a developer can "decide" to make a SW-game. isn't it more like LucasArts (or now Disney) decide to make a new SW-game and then search for possible development-studios? Also, I think it's interesting how LucasArts don't even list Jedi Knight on the "games" tab on their page anymore (http://www.lucasarts.com/) and also not on their forums (http://forums.lucasarts.com/index.jspa) while they still list Battlefront and other old games. So I highly doubt they are still interested in this series, even though I think the sales weren't too bad for Jedi Knight 2 and Academy.
  22. Someone made this like 2 weeks before E3 2010 and I think it was already proved that it's a fake. It would be awesome if not, but I highly doubt it.
