I think the whole concept only makes sense when you make it standalone, means when you use your own assets. Otherwise I don't see a reason why I would play the game in the browser instead of the regular way

Just copy the whole folder. At times I had 3 different installs (1.01, MBII and 1.0)

I loaded this up . This is the only stable version I know so use this one. All other versions crash all the time

Basically this. I'd pick different milestones though but who cares. The only modding-milestones I'd find worth mentioning are the release of MBII and probably the release of JA+ because these are the most important mods for JKA. You could also add the mb2tour tournament from 2011, not sure about the exact date though

Not 100% related but... I think it should be allowed to upload mods you do not own. There are so many good demos, configs and also mods (eg from pcgamemods) that can't be uploaded cause of the guidelines on this page. I think as long as you don't "steal" (by pretending that you created the file) it should be allowed. Especially for demos it's just stupid. There are really many people who care for demos but so far the only one who uploaded some is me. And that's because the real good demos are from people that do not care about this game anymore and won't upload them. I understand that it's important to protect copyrights but I think it's sad when some files just get lost. Especially in a community that is as small as ours. Saying that I actually would like to see a JKArchive but this won't happen with the current guidelines.

Well, you would have to ask every single contributer of the mods/maps/whatever before you could upload them.

A game does not "sorta" remember something. You got a problem with your jampconfig/jaconfig. Most likely because of several mod-folders.
