  1. Did anyone work with EffectsEd? Can't figure out some things.

Yeah, I don't think there is a "slow down the whole effect to x%

speed". You would have to slow down every single part the effect is made of.

Mostly just played around with some effects. What's the problem?

  3. What you guys are playing this days?

  4. Having to re-learn a few bits and pieces, but it's a fun process. ^.^

  5. Yeah, so I finally stopped playing TES (and videogames by extension), but I still love the universe. I'm thinking of reading through the Imperial Library, but am worried I'll wanna play the games again :(

I like it too. 'Convocation in the malignity of the moonless speculum, a dance of fire --'

"The next day he began his adventure with a giddy lack of hesitation. He arranged for a seat in a caravan bound for Valenwood, the single escorted conveyance to the southeast leaving the Imperial City that week. He had scarcely hours to pack, but he remembered to purchase a wagonload of timber."

I like cooking my own meals. It tastes like creation, and I can verify (partially, at least) the quality of the food I eat. And cats can help a bit with waking up alone in bed, though only a bit.

  8. So, do any of you guys miss the 90's?

I miss them a lot. Some parts more than others, I guess. Like I might as well investigate a way to teleport back to the 90s and create a better timeline. Heck, if even Doom and Heretic have savegames, why can't the Universe have them? Never felt to me like the work of a lazy coder (or bunch of coders).

Like Ben said, "Remember, a Jedi can feel the Force flowing through him." You just need to learn to sense its consistency.

Played a similar game two days ago, while getting drunk: took a shot every time LightningBoltForever said "But uhm" in one of his videos (it was a Quake video in that case), exactly like in the "How I Met Your Mother" episode "Jenkins". Works very well with him :D

  15. Now I'm actually diving into Dragon and making some animations have the notion that the model is breathing. Katanamaru's own advice on the Dragon download comment section helped out significantly.

What's necessary with Dragon that Blender can't do? Just curious.

Nah, that should be locked behind mod completion, so that you work three or four times as hard :P

Pfft. I'd resort to Spaarti cloning... they worked pretty efficiently under Thrawn's command back then.

Make it three or four, SomaZ, one or two more to add lots of cool features.

I agree with the others. Blender is WAY better than Dragon in terms of controlling and polishing animations. Not to mention that you can also attach everything to the player model to give an idea of how the animation will look like with a certain weapon, or even turn a map into a model, import, and animate according to the environment, which is extremely useful for cutscenes.

  20. Can anyone please tell me why I can't post a new topic in Mod Requests & Suggestions forum? I didn't do anything wrong to be blocked for posting mod suggestions as far as I'm aware.

For trees and brushes, I found that using Arbaro is useful to get textures from high poly trees and make low poly ones with them. It's just a pity that it has no presets for pines, redwood and conifers in general. I love conifers.
