Good stuff. I remember seeing lines in .sab for broken hilt options for staffs. Nice to see this actually being implemented fully by someone. MUG approves.

it is a single player mod, which will let you play all multiplayer maps in single player. also it contains many gameplay and effect improvements.
Might wanna put that up in the description =P

That may be so, but that doesn't stop you from putting a review in it. I think it is pretty awkward having all that clutter up in the file description. I really quite liked the short and to the point file descriptions on this site. So much better than having reams of text like on jk2files.

Silence, unwashed MUG! Reviews help modders gain perspective on their work. No self-respecting JK site should be wiffout 'em.
Also, really digging what you have so far judging solely by those screenshots. I read Szico's review, and I think you're definitely in good hands on that one. I hope there's moar awesome Castlevania-related stuff on the horizon.
Yeah, but that's what this handy area marked "Submit Review" is for. Not what the file description is for.

Very sexy map, love it. Shame it still has one or two bugs. Any chance of seeing a fixed version eventually?

Noticed that rather than include a new .shader file that overwrites the console, you have included a modified version of the entire gfx.shader file. It would conflict with other mods far less if you included something along the lines of hydroballconsole.shader which only contained your new console shader. I also thought I would point out that by changing the value of cg_hudfiles, you can already get an almost identical minimal hud.

Having been a part of the testing, I can confirm that this is probably the sexiest JKA map there is. Looks extremely pretty, what with the snow, and the night time (exceptional lighting). I can think of no map that pays better attention to detail. Both the exteriors and interiors of the buildings look very detailed, and realistic. There are even cart tracks in the snow on the road (this is not just a texture, there is an actual indent in the snow), complete with curving track intersections at junctions.
I could go on for ages, but in short, this map is very immersive and awesome to behold, so download it, and explore it yourself!

This is just a portion of the backups I have lying around from the old cosmos map:
Everytime you make any significant change. Use "save as" rather than save, and increment a version number. That way if something terrible happens to the current version, you only loose a few minutes of work.

I like it other than the console. Perhaps a version of it that adds the stars background as in the base console, behind your Hydroball logo, at 50% transparency? it becomes very difficult to read any text in the console when its fully transparent.

Awesome, Hydroball needed a better ball colour desperately.

The only problem I've found thus far is that should a player of either team abruptly disappear for whatever reason, none of the bystanders have the option to join in some how. The only solution is to kill one team and restart the match entirely, which can be highly disruptive. Other than this, each map is well put together and definitely a must-have for any Hydroball player.
I've had a good go at adding players mid match, turns out its completely impossible in Hydroball.
