  1. You spelled my username wrong
  2. My current sig doesn't match my avatar. Does someone want to make me a new one? The avatar is part of the album art for Faith No More's "King for a Day...Fool for a Lifetime"
  3. I think Archangel is right, the movie makeup screenshot is the most accurate one to follow. Remember that the face isn't getting rigged to JKA's skeleton, it's getting rigged to a custom one. Facial expression will be modified by mood, and compensating for the model will lead to distortion. You need the face to be absolutely relaxed as possible otherwise you'll get the JA effect of the face being distorted by two different emotions being played at the same time.
  4. Greetings.
  5. JKA/JK2 uses a custom scripting system known as ICARUS. I don't know if EF used it, but I believe it does (the cinematic camera code is identical). BehavED is a GUI program that makes scripting easier and more akin to Kismet. You don't need BehavED to write ICARUS scripts; it just eliminates the need to learn its (bizarre) syntax.
  6. That's not what I asked, but thanks for the info. Where in the PK3 are you putting the shader? Something else you can try: find which .shader file the wake shader is defined and replace it with a new .shader that has your modified one in it.
  7. Where are you putting the water shader in your PK3? Are the JPGs saved as progressive?
  8. Slight bump, the C/C++ primer is now available here: http://jkhub.org/tutorials/article/200-c-and-c-primer/ I haven't received any feedback at all on it, and it would be much appreciated.
  9. Nope, unfortunately.
  10. I've had a G11 before and I also had a stuck key, but mine was the L key. It's a common problem with this particular keyboard.
  11. Are you putting the shader into a PK3? What .shader is the original wake shader in? What is the name of your .shader file? Unrelated, but I'm pretty sure GL_ONE GL_ONE is the wrong blendFunc. This is equivalent to blendFunc identity if I'm not mistaken.
  12. The shader is called "wake", and you'll need to replace that, not "gfx/misc/splash"
  13. You state a reason why it would be good to sign up to the forums and then say you have no reason to sign up to the forums. MBII/zz_MBModels.pk3 being wrong checksum doesn't prove anything because the PK3 is always different on client/server (intentionally) Remove the cgamex86.dll from Gamedata. It doesn't belong there.
  14. Why don't you just get an MB2 account instead? I really don't get your aversion to it. Try checking My Games folder for DLLs. I've had issues before with those DLLs conflicting.
  15. You should really be posting these types of issues on their forums, not here. This place isn't frequented by MB2 staff.
  16. There's an effect used named env/water_impact. I think that's when you jump into a shallow pool of water though.
  17. Anyway, is anyone going to pick this one up?
  18. Nope. *snore* Another artist's tool. I'm more excited about xsngine honestly.
  19. The program is Radiant. GTK is just the UI library. You wouldn't call Q3Radiant "Q3" or JK2Radiant "JK2" [/ränt]
  20. I still think it looks like a sword, and last I checked, people weren't cutting off their body parts with the hilt. I'd say this one is far more practical than the staff saber for sure.
  21. Do you have any logical reasoning to back up anything that you just said?
  22. It's less stupid than a staff saber. At least you could argue some practical purpose with this saber. It looks like a broadsword of sorts. I disagree, I think the look of the character and the saber design are fine. What I hate is the name. "Kylo Ren" sounds like such a crap name, that my only guess is that it has to be an anagram.
  23. Thread locked. Please don't post duplicate threads.
  24. These screenshots look too dark I think. It would've been better to see these on a white background or a desert perhaps. But looks good nonetheless.
  25. I'm still convinced that it's a driver related issue. Until Flynn installs his drivers there's no way we can say with any degree of certainty.
