    I'm wondering how that will work for customization though, as you have feet and hands which aren't very similar. A whole new species would almost do the trick.
     
    On a semi-unrelated note, someone should frankenstein the Rodian Male heads onto the Rodian Mercenary (enemy guy)'s body sometime, that would be great for a little bit of additional enemy variety.

    You are completely right, the model falls apart in all those details and even the texturing. The model was ages old even before I released it. It had parts from my first Boba Fett/Jango Fett combo (the armor mostly) I stole the hands from Kyle Katarn I think and stretched the base textures too much (hence the stone looking armor). If I was to do a new Boba Fett it would look much much better, but it would also take more polygons. Perhaps it's worth the shot if it's going to be the primary character.

    EDIT: Tried it. Didn't work. This is what I get when I try to make the melee stance "stand_6" use the duel saber stance.

    I was attacked by this thing at the Star Tours ride at Disney's Hollywood Studios, twice. I'm going to sue that travel agency. Now, seriously, it's looking fairly good and I bet it will look much better once you get it textured (or perhaps you already did and I missed the screenshots). Nice work. If I had the time I would model so much stuff =(.

    You could also just use some sounds from the game like the rancor or wampa and manipulate them to make them sound a little different. I'll see what I can do.
     
    The rancor sounds are extremely similar to the Colo sounds!
     
    If you need some help texturing the teeth, here's a good screencap.

    im in the process of reanimating the colo claw fish. rigging something on the side for someone too, but its only 694 frames i do about 75 frames in a sitting... just fixing his anims a bit i wanted to rig the fish's "claws" to the howlers arms... so i could make em sway with the "water" and stuff... especially cuz its only 694 frames i could just reanimate the whole thing... and since im only like 150 frames into it i was debating starting over with the claws... but i really hate moving bones in world space while animating cuz it gets weird but ive done it before and it turned out actually quite good so yeah... this paragraph has convinced me, im starting over with his anims and hes gunna be pretty sick all things considered. good looking out on that research ashura im stoked to see if it helps

    Update!
     
    The Wolfpack is coming along quite nicely! I have made icons for several characters as well as setting up some team skins as well.
    My mine focus lately has been on a concept version of Commander Wolffe. He is based off the design of the red Wolfpack troopers posted above for reference (I found a symbol for the helmet by the way). And since both the trooper and Wolffe are completed, I think they are both ready to be shown off.

    Yeah I've tried the Upper vs. Both way before. If it worked it'd be badass. I tried it with saber transitions to try and get rid the spinning transitions (which are the BANE of my animating existance!)

    Hey there. I see you have my Boba Fett as avatar, it's an honor. I think Alex already spoke in my behalf (and I trust him my stuff blindly), but you can use my model for this mod and even, perhaps, I could improve upon the mesh since I've recently went back to the model and I found out I didn't like a lot of things. Also, I would like to give it a go at the main blaster he uses (can't remember the name though).

    So I've been going through the dialogue scripts for JA and have been really enjoying seeing the removed dialogue. Some of it is really interesting because they hint at features of missions that were either removed or never implemented due to time constraints. I feel like they were really planning on making the game more puzzling and strategic like JO was, but didn't have time.

    Here's an example. In the mission on Yalara when you have to destroy the cloaking device, it was meant to be a little more challenging. One can argue this was the easiest and most straight forward level in the game. It look like they were going to add a certain way that would force the player to turn off the cloaking device before destroying it, either with det packs or cutting pipes.




    This one is even better. On Hoth, it looks like they were going to make the cold, snowy weather actually accurately hazardous and require the player to get inside before he/she froze to death.




    There are others as well. I think the Hoth mission would have been more challenging if you were actually running for your life to find warmth.

    whoever creates it will need to keep in mind the animations for it and make the barrels longer and things like that so when it animates it doesnt stretch
    i did something similar to this for proxy he has some little pistons on his neck that move when he turns his head.

    also.. completely unrelated.. i know that back in the day when the modding community was a little more crowded.. people used to do requests for people..

    back in the day though everybody knew who had the haps on what... and that helped.
    example...

    everybody knew katanamaru is just beast at animating... inyri mini ashura for modelling /textures. razor n spior for coding help... nab for scripting etc...

    maybe if there was a way to refresh everyones minds as to who likes to do what around here and our schedules and such. that way making a request isnt so much like talking in the dark. maybe a way to add to the site perhaps? like... "currently working on" and "areas of expertise" and "gallerys" or something u get me? that way youd know who to ask for stuff... i dunno..hell maybe we can get a modelling assembly line of sorts. istead of a model request being so daunting and just texturing and uvmapping and shaders and npc files and anims and efx n scripting n bot support n sounds... maybe one person do each? like... if we knew who really liked doing textures, and his plate was clear, id model that friggin tank real quick get me? then maybe uv map it n send her down the line lol...so it would definately help the site. wed look a tad more organized rather than a modding community wed kinda be more of a team.

    For my Prequel Conversion mod, I really want to replace the AT-ST with a "prequel" style enemy tank. I loved in the Episode I video game, the AAT tanks served the same basic purpose as the AT-ST's in JK, even if they were a little more tough.
     
    Currently, I have the Hailfire Droid replacing the AT-ST, and it's alright, but I'm not a huge fan of it. I would prefer the AAT to replace it. There is a model of one already from MBII as a map object, but it has no skeleton/animations.
     
    My request is one of these:
     
    create a new model and add a custom skeleton/animations
     
    or
     
    use the model from MBII and make custom skeleton/animations for that
     
    Also, if there is already one made, I have not been able to find it.

    I also have been coming up with ideas for version 2 of this. The hardest part will be the voiceovers for the main characters like Luke, Kyle, Alora, and Tavion.
