And about the gmax thing... I still can't the "cylinder" thing right... Like I made a cylinder with a height of 1 and 6 sides but I can't get it to change from a hexagonal shape to a rectangle shape to fit the hilt...

Yeah dude you might want to look into modelling the map then importing in said models to reduce compile time/ tris if you're doing something expensive like that. Worked for me

Definitely best option for something such as Coruscant, I'm doing that myself in fact, but I still don't recommend this as an easier alternative. :D I'm so glad your getting such a kick out of it though Chalk :D

I know if I can just get this hilt designing thing down, I can at least help this out by making all of the hilts so if I can just get past this cylinder making problem down I can probably do it...

I found a tutorial on YouTube but the link to the MD3 Exporter which they say is like really important is a dead link sooooo

well... id build that hilt for you, but since you have like 10 hilts you want to make.. id learn it yourself dude its sooo simple. gmax on the other hand may not be im not sure...

 

took me under 3 minutes including uv unwrapping XD  

 

thats why you need to learn it yourself. that way you start out making the hilts you need for the mod, and by the time you're done with those you'll be comfortable trying other things
