If I'm being honest, those look 100% done already unless they have too many vertices or something.

Sadly, this can't be done. You would require a code edit. The game doesn't allow throwing staffs.
The only way would be to cheat your way out of it and defining the saber as
saberType SABER_SINGLE numBlades 2
But some mods may see that cheat too.

Elegant, with good looking fonts, some good, but not overdone effects, with consistent minimalistic (but not TOO minimalistic) stuff with consistent color palletes. Super well done so far!

After a month of dormancy, I have some news.
I have decided to remove any textures that I did not properly credit the author or author(s) of so that way I do not get into any trouble with them, and apologies in advance for the excessive posting, I would generously appreciate it if a Staff member could combine all my posts in this topic into one if it is in the realm of possibility.
You want the whole topic combined into one post or just the recent ones?
IMO just arrange the posts you want to keep the way you like them (like, copypaste, edit, remove etc. stuff in them as you see fit), and then purge the ones you want deleted and just put lone comma or dot inside, so I can be sure to delete only what you truly want deleted, sounds good? : D

Hope I'll be able to help a site that's been crucial to my RP for so many years

I absolutely goddamn love this thing, it's definitely top 3 best JK-things to come out since at least 2018
It's insanely useful for my RP group - it allows to easily play as a character that's unavailable personally, but reachable via comlink. Allows you to jump in for some basic activity from anywhere if you want to. Hell, if electricity dies or something like that - you have an option to finish the game via some simple message instead of just randomly disconnecting in the middle of the scene.
The fact that most admin commands in most mods I know are defined in Jampgame allows you to use admin features remotely if people on the server need some admin stuff done, yet nobody is on their PCs.
Totally brilliant, insanely useful thing!
As far as any suggestions go (but all the important stuff and ability to do all those things is already here), I would probably go for:
- ability to change your nickname with some button
- an option to put some servers on top, some Favorites-list, something like that; after you disconnect and restart the app, you need to search for your server manually again
- maybe an ability to connect via manually-inserted IPs; not sure here, since I use one server only, but maybe some people would find it useful for unlisted servers or stuff like that?
- maybe some thingy that's put somewhere in userinfo, honestly anywhere, maybe even in a random place, like the saber name, to identify the users? Mod-creators could include some specific stuff in their code so that some mod-specific stuff (like special chats or something) is sent in a default, normal way to the user of the app so it uses the proper channels etc.
10/10 thing!
And thanks again for including OJP's modded playerStates

I sometimes encountered the same problem as you did, and the best option was changing a map to some small one for a moment (like /devmap mp/duel1) and then again into /devmap mymap. Try that too in the future.

Thank you for the help. Are unique shader files mandatory for most models? I can just about get my head around kitbashing two models together, but that Shader coding might as well be magic to me.
Unique *.shader files are not necessary, though most textures will just look better if you know your way around that.
What's really necessary though, is unique names for your stuff. If you don't name your stuff separately, you're going to fall into lots of trouble. Just, when you're done assembling, change "jacen_solo" within models/players/ into "jacen_solo2", then open all the model_*.skin files and do mass change (Ctrl+H, mass replace) for jacen_solo->jacen_solo2, then repeat the same action with any .shader file. Remember to also change the *.shader's file name, so you don't have two jacen_solo.shader files.

The parameters are in void functions you can see here: OpenJK/w_force.c at master · JACoders/OpenJK (github.com)
Now getting to know how to build your own game is a bit more tricky, but here's the tutorial: Compilation guide · JACoders/OpenJK Wiki (github.com) - it may all look quite a bit complicated if you're more used to some simpler stuff like editing .npc/.sab files and so on, but really when you finally get to know your way around Visual Studio, then finding a place where to fix an integer defining range/speed/damage is omega-simple!

Awesome! Thank you very much, they're gonna be insanely useful

Could you share the Vong?
I use Vong models nearly everyday!

I'll bump that because it's a neat topic. I've usually tinkered with Jedi Academy by using external stuff such as ReShade to enhance the graphics, would be cool to see what others have in their stock.

You need to setup your own console server, separate from the game instance, like Noodle said.
https://jkhub.org/topic/10030-creating-a-dedicated-server-home-run-for-windows/ - go through this tutorial and then just connect with your own server. This way client and server are separate. When you create a MP game from the menu, client is mixed with server.
I can also upload the basic setup for base OpenJK server

Either way, with music and audio the law is far more complicated.
In case of 3D works, software, the rules are very strict. With sound files, you can get a lot of workarounds in terms of their legality. Mostly coming from the times of recorders everywhere and no internet around, with laws from these times still being active.

I like how your skills' development is really visible across the entire thread. The lighting is far different from the first works now, as is the perspective, field of depth sometimes (although it's still a thing you may need improvement in), etc. Compositions are really on a new, another level. Congrats for the dedication and skill improvement, you can really see the difference.

Hey, it actually works really, really well!
Requires some texture modification for robes on the statue, but that's a normal thing. Thanks!

I've read this - https://jkhub.org/topic/10479-best-shiny-floor-shader/ - topic, but it seems to be going towards mirror effect rather than to what I'm trying to achieve, so I've decided to make another thread. I've spent some time trying to create a shader that would allow my model to look like a golden statue; shiny, sure, even with a large "mirror effect" but certainly not just pure bathroom-mirror effect.
I've used the enviro shader that goes like this:
models/map_objects/pomnik_onderon/elia_neck { qer_editorimage models/map_objects/pomnik_onderon/elia_neck q3map_nolightmap { map models/map_objects/pomnik_onderon/elia_neck rgbGen vertex } { map models/map_objects/pomnik_onderon/gold_enviro blendFunc GL_DST_COLOR GL_ONE tcGen environment } }
And it looks very good, just like shiny gold... as far as I don't move. Any small movement makes the light move chaotically, it looks like it's animated, but in a really wrong manner, without any logic.
So, any good shader for a gold effect?

At this point it's more pulling people in from completely other places and getting them interested via some other means. Essentially you need to be advertising something completely different than JKA, something that people want and will search for, and offering them that within some place/community/server related to JKA.
