I don't think gtkradiant 1.6 will support jk2\jka

64GB of RAM seems just as unlikely as 64MB to me -
Oh that, yeah, it doesnt work.

That's not very descriptive.... utility tool what? Cant find anything in his file submissions anything like this...

There used to be a site with various q3 map models for download by qkenny - Cant find it now, that had a few new trees, as seen in Midgar v3,0 choco ranch (can always take the md3 from there). Other than that, it would be great if someone made some more... *hint hint* Alternately, depending on the type of tree you can make your own - pine trees for example are relatively easy to make yourself, as in nightfall.

Barbie kyle Fresh outta high school? Looks too young and 'fresh' -
Not to hijack a thread, but y'know what I'd really love? An ase to md3 or obj. converter that will preserve texture and shader information for JKA. Do you have a request list?

@ - Sure, sent you a PM

@ - The URL is actually xxx.xxx.nhs.uk (This is the server name for step 3) This is definitely not the OWA link though. The link above is the server host? I tried this with DAVmail but couldnt find a owa link that worked. Is there a way to resolve it from my phones connection (which works so presumably if an OWA exists, the phone must have got this info from the server)

P.S. "As I understand it you want a Exchange Activesync connection a desktop client of your choosing, right???" Ideally, Outlook 2007. But I'm prepared to download another client if thats the only way to do it.

Thanks for the post @ - however remember I cannot get any OWA access as the NHS trust I work for does not have one, or chooses not to let most know of it (there is no external web access as previously mentioned) - therefore I cannot complete these steps. I figure I'm this one - IF YOU ARE NOT CONNECTED TO THE NETWORK internally as EXCHANGE SERVER, given that Im at home and not on the local intranet 9.) In the URL field, this is the OUTLOOK ANYWHERE Field (The web facing DNS record for this mail server) - This is the bit I can't do. The only details I have are the ones listed in the OP.

I'll just weigh in here with my original post in the staff forum which prompted these new rules, might clarify things. "Szico VII - (01 September 2013 - 03:07 PM) Is there a "submission rules" page anywhere - Im getting tired of all these files with inadequate readme.txt that dont even contain the author name, file name , copyright info or basic description. Ive been rejecting any without author name or copyright detail so far" As for the rules, my suggestions seem to be mostly agreed with by the staff but they're not finalized yet. See below for my original post with suggested inclusion criteria, mandatory in bold. Author File Name and Version (the version I think is important here as several people are submitting new files to replace old ones with no version change obvious and we end up overwriting the originals on our dropbox as we dont realise there's already a file there. Or if we do realise, how to we rename the file if theres no version info - or is this just me?) Date Filesize Description +/- installation instructions Copyright/License (as this is a required option in a dropdown box when submitting I guess it doesnt HAVE to be in the readme, but I think it should be.) Credits +/- Permissions if required. (This would likely mean including original readme.txt files from other users content) I do not feel it is enough to write this in the file description box and not include in the readme.txt as part of the actual distributable file. My 2 cents.

Its completely inconsequential by what method I access my email once Ive been granted external access - I can take my emails at home on my phone, I'd just like them on my desktop too. I assumed it'd be easy but apparently no desktop software (bar Windows 8 default client) supports it. I suspect this is the only system they have setup for cost and maintenance reasons, as well as most people would prefer phone access over pc as they tend to check their phone more. There's no additional security concerns with desktop over mobile. The NHS doesnt have a lot of spare cash. I appreciate your concern, but I would also appreciate any answers to the actual question!

Does anyone know of a client (or ideally, a method to get outlook 2007 to do this) which will allow me to download mail from an activesync server to a desktop client? Currently, I can only receive work emails from my android phone using Touchdown app (which supports activesync) as there's no webmail access page outside of their intranet system. I would really like to be able to get these emails on my desktop/laptop PC but I have no idea how, and google has turned up nothing! For the first time in history google has failed me Anyone have any advice? P.S. Heres the settings that work for the android phone app ================================================== Your request to use personal equipment has been approved and you have now been added to a group to enable you to use your device for accessing ULHT e-mails / your diary. Please follow the instructions below on how to do this, if you have any queries please speak to the ICT Service Desk on Ext 5800 Android –touchdown Configure Mail Open touchdown application > account tab: Connection mode select ActiveSync ONLY Put in login ID in the form of ulh\username Email Address is your ULH email address Password is your PC password Go to Connection tab: Server name is xxx.xxx.nhs.uk Tick Uses SSL

You could get close with an fx_runner?
-
You could do it with a trigger_hurt with an appropriate floor shader, or an fx_runner. Both will work! I think the electric death effect is spawnflags 64. I think thats SP only though as it doesnt show up in the MP entity description.

"If you were to put a huge structural box around the map and make everything else detail, the -vis stage would conclude that everything is always visible" ^^^This. It means that everything in the map will be drawn all the time, resulting in very poor framerates and lag.

Come on people, we have tutorials for a reason! http://jkhub.org/tutorials/article/92-hand-shaped-terrain/ (Manual, precise method, easy to manipulate later) http://jkhub.org/tutorials/article/101-terrain-creation-using-easygen/ (Automatic, fast, hard to edit later)
-
VIS is almost universally always the fastest stage when detail and structural brushes are used correctly - you just need to make all brushes detail except your major void-touching geomoetry and select other brushes you require to split your map up appropriately for fps purposes.

Gtk radiant 1.5 curved brushes thicken - where is this option?
Szico VII replied to Langerd's topic in Modding Assistance
I don't have experience with 1.5, but you can accomplish this in either using this method - tis how I've always done it. http://jkhub.org/tutorials/article/91-creating-curved-corner-cylinders/page-3? -
You have a complex structural brush with too many faces/sides. You need to either delete it or split it into separate brushes using the clipper tool. Or better, make it again but make it better.
