  1. As a user of OpenJK, my answers will be somewhat limited: 1) Yes. Open JK can start the game in any widescreen resolution where the original game did not (though it can be circumvented by starting in a 4:3 resolution and then switch to a 16:9/16:10 resolution). I have achieved it by adding the following into the autoexec.cfg file: You may change the values where applicable to suit your screen. 2) Never experienced it. Did it happen on Windows or on Linux ?? 3) Can't tell anything about that. I use OpenJK for development of MP maps only at this time. 4) I don't use Linux but I wouldn't be surprised if the issue was related to the Intel graphics chip. I've heard a lot about them and especially the lack of support that seems to be in existence in more dedicated graphics adapters.
  2. Don't know about that though, since all we've seen is a trailer. Guess we'll have to find out late August because after Tom Baker and David Tennant who nailed the character, he has some big shoes to fill . . .
  3. Make sure that file extensions are enabled, otherwise you'll end up with autoexec.cfg.txt file, which the game will not load by default . . .
  4. And it reminds me of a map which I played in Elite Force
  5. Maybe it's an idea to modify that behaviour within the OpenJK project ??
  6. Perhaps you can do something with the force points. IMHO no points = no force abilities !?!?
  7. Same here. Probably server-side issue . . .
  8. Instead of an MD3, you can also make it an ASE file . . .
  9. As a former Elite Force veteran mapper, I can tell you that Raven was a bit lazy giving every shader an image, which means that in the editor you will get a "missing shader" but it will work normally within the game. Textures that are using a shader are white retangled in hte editor, otherwise they are green.
  10. How about Dune II and ... ... Doom ?? I used to have PC Tools until version 7 or 8, when it became too graphical. Switched then to NC, which I still use on my DOS rig . . .
  11. Image Alchemy and sometimes ARJ . . .
  12. ... or made it part of the automatic updates cycles or something . . .
  13. I know but it might be a good idea to check were the false positive comes from . . .
  14. It was reported as an infected file . . .
  15. My AV went haywire when I downloaded the mod from there . . . :/
  16. If it is possible however I never saw it in any MP maps I've played . . . Jedi Academy comes with both jasp.exe and jamp.exe, one for the single player portion and the other for the multiplayer portion. Altough they share a lot of content (e.g: /base map), a lot of specific code are stored in their respective executables, which cannot be attained by the other executable. This happened a lot in Raven games that utilizes the idTech3 engine and in the example of Elite Force 2 (which was developed by Ritual), only one executable is used by both the singleplayer and multiplayer portions and that is why elements from one portion can be used in the other, such as NPC scripting.
  17. Don't worry Black Mesa stole the same idea from . . . Half-Life
  18. Perhaps this might work: http://www.toptiertactics.com/17609/how-to-make-knights-of-the-old-republic-work-on-windows-7/
  19. Did you try running the game in Windows XP-mode ??
  20. Nope, not entirely. It now downloads the Jedi Academy version instead of the Jedi Outcast version . . . :/
  21. The following download does not work anymore: http://jkhub.org/files/file/1690-battlestar-aurelia-outlinebeta-one/ Dropbox gives a "The resource could not be found" error message . . . Perhaps an idea to make this sticky so that other people can report broken downloads ??
  22. Autobound 1 might also help in these circumstances . . .
