  1. Yeah I'm still cheesed off they replaced Sebastian Shaw's force ghost. If Disney had any sense, they would undo the Hayden force ghost for when all 9 blu-rays are released. A hologram of Vader would work, or maybe one of his holocrons.
  2. Vader wouldn't be a force ghost though, only Anakin as he went back to the lightside of the force.
  3. Yeah that's due to rend2 (MP as well) having missing triangles when rendering ghoul2 models. Looks to be a debug build issue though, not release. No idea how to fix the ghoul2 textures not loading/being applied to the wrong models or the "give" command crashing. @@Xycaleth any ideas? The code is updated on my git.

  5. Yeah, make sure they have _off at at the end. Check you skin files for the texture issues.
  6. Doesn't need to be a complete ball for JKA, there's no eye bones that move the eyeball. It's just wasted geometry. My Kyle is different as I plan on adding eye bones to DF2 Mod.
  7. Update on the head: - Added more detail to the hair texture - Changed to goatee from textured onto a solid model to alpha plane - Did some reshaping of the head
  8. Not much you can do about the ring unless it's a model rather than textured onto the skirt.
  9. TFU has a quigon model. It's head is spot on.
  10. I've achieved a lot more than a n00b should have, that's for sure lol.
  11. As you may know, I've started to port rend2 from MP to SP. Special thankyou to Xycaleth for all of his assistance. Here's what's not working that I know of: - Textures for item/weapon spawns crash the game I will post any updates here.
  12. Yeah, I get this sort of thing as well. Most recently, with Darth Maul. You just need to find the "sweet spot" where it looks good when adjusting the brightness/constrast. However at second glance, it looks like you have the gamma cranked up (look at the white text, it looks too bright).

  14. I'm waiting until the movie is out because nothing is fully shown (except for maybe the ball droid) at this point and I for one want to get details accurate the first time. Fear not, I WILL be making the new trooper.
  15. I like yours better, it's more finished in appearance. That, and yours isn't a port. Can you release, or is it another portfolio piece?
  16. Are you talking about misc_model, or misc_model_static? misc_model I know has issues with specular shaders making the models black.
  17. I don't see why they would mess up with lighting & shadows unless the LODs aren't done very well. Could be some game bug, who knows.
  18. Which is why you should make it as an MD3 model with LODs.
  19. Could you please post a comparison between the original port & the reskin? Without trying to sound like an ass, all I see is just a re-posed port with JKA hands and without the specular + normal maps ripped. The normal maps could have at least been baked into the diffuse.
