  2. Hmmm....that would work...but we would need to find LOTS of them. And most of the cvars stored in .cfgs are display options.
  3. Hmmmm...thanks for the reply. Bummer. How difficult would that be? I know that SP coding isn't easy and is a relatively new area, but how difficult would it be to add the ARCHIVE flag to cvars?
  4. Hey there guys, I need some help finding a command for SP. I had a feature planned that I was hoping to implement that used lots of cvars. Now, as you know, save games don't retain cvars, so if you save a game with a cvar set to 1, keeping playing, awhile later set it to 2, then later load the game you saved. The cvar is not 1, it is 2. Now I wanted to fix this, using the writeconfig command along with save. Like so: save game1;writeconfig game 1. But I recently found out that writeconfig only saves binds and other commands, not custom cvars. Is there any commands that dumps all the commands into an .cfg file? Thanks.

  16. Announcing the Harry Potter Singleplayer Campaign! The Harry Potter Singleplayer Campaign is a mod that transports the player into the magical world of Harry Potter. Prepare yourself as you take the place of a young wizard studying alongside Harry Potter at the grand Hogwarts school. That's right! You won't be playing as Harry during this epic campaign. This mod allows the player to write his own story...his fate is literally in your hands. The mod will showcase many exciting new features, such as: -Role playing -A huge list of spells, weapons, potions, robes, and much more -Reworked ammo system for spells, throws out the default system used by JA -Dialogue choosers which allow the player to be in full control of their destiny -Huge, free-roaming based maps -Beautiful effects -Entirely new user interfaces like the use of an inventory system -An exciting SP campaign We hope to provide a gameplay atmosphere where the player is truly in control.   17. Who wouldn't want this? Us SP modders will drool over this! Seems cool...can you give an example of a 'locked' cvar? It seems like there is a workaround for most of them, at least the ones I know. For sure. Could we add moves too? I don't exactly see how this is useful... Always good to have some more NPC types to work with. Haven't muddled to much with waypoints...sounds good, though. More! Force power modding. Adding displays to the weapon huds and forcepower huds. Move the position of things in the hud that are hardcoded. (things like the weapon selecting - you use scroll for it) Very excited!

  19. Might as well try it. Reverted to XP classic theme and took off a couple effects. Thats right. XP. Cuz' XP is the best.
  20. Wait...you can boost your speed/performance by going with the default desktop?
  21. Wow those are really cool...wish they weren't ported though. I've definitely seen some of those guns in MB2 community maps.
