Jedi Academy... Is not a JK3, sequel announced?
Mog replied to RancorSNP's topic in Jedi Knight General Discussions
Then look at it this way: Raven Studios looks as if they are busy with the CoD franchise. Also, keep in mind they lost interest with JKA and stopped supporting the game (though servers exist, obviously) LucusArts is planning to release other games that will bring them income, and what's interesting is that the majority of gamers are looking for a FPS feeling to Star Wars rather then JKA's "slash&clash" feel (why The Force Unleashed was considered unpopular) If that list is legit and there was a proposed "JK3", then it would most likely was cancelled due to lack of interest. (SWBF3 was the same deal, it was announced, but the company lost interest in it's development and released a watered down version to the PSP) When I said that Raven Studios "no longer exist", I meant that they no longer wish to associate themselves with the Star Wars franchise, cause their association with CoD is earning them more money. Also, the new game that Obsidian wants to develop I believe is to be related to The Old Republic, not to JKA. (I call DLC). EDIT: Raven did help develop it, btw. They gave up the rights to JKA because they wanted to move on to other projects. The list is from 2 years ago. If they had planned to announce a sequel to JKA, they would have released it by now. -
Jedi Academy... Is not a JK3, sequel announced?
Mog replied to RancorSNP's topic in Jedi Knight General Discussions
A sequel to the JK series will never happen, for 2 reasons: 1. Raven Studios, the ones who were in charge of the series, no longer exists. 2. LucusArts doesn't see a reason to make a sequel. Sorry to burst everyone's bubble, but I suspect that the page is not entirely correct. Also Jedi Academy is JK3. It's the third in the JK series, and it has been for quite awhile. -
Despite the metro look and what not, Windows 8 was actually quite successful.

You may or may not have noticed the slight change to the JKHub bar, how "Modders" is now called "People". I am partly to blame for this...kinda. Anyways...with the help of the ever so sexy Caelum, there is now a neat little blog for the "latest and greatest" (I was told to say this to make it seem cool....I think it isn't)of JKA news and stuff...conveniently called "Mog's Blog". Essentially, the blog will focus on stuff that's happening in JKA from the eyes of a regular man-bear-pig-player. Opinions will be stated, blood will be spilled and people will most likely explode (not really). Sooooo....if anyone would like to take a look at the new blog..please feel free: http://mogblog.jkhub.org. Alternately, you can simply click on the "People" tab on the JKHub bar and click on my name. Anyways, enjoy lads!

"Welcome to the mall" - Ghoul chick outside Underworld ...and if that didn't make sense to you, I don't blame you. Welcome to the Hub...enjoy your stay.

I wouldn't mind putting some time into a proper JKA wiki. I mean, the game is technically dying...but recording all the things that make JKA, well, JKA, would be well worth the time.

Here's something I bet you didn't know.

Already knew this though -
Hey y'all Alright, so I've always had this thing for the Fallout series since it debuted in the mid 90's. Since my favorite in the series was Fallout 2, and it just so happens that I am a fan of the Enclave faction in the game, I had since then wanted to make my own Enclave Power Armor..... Well, that failed miserably....however, I may still have a chance to lead the Enclave charge into JKA (Don't worry, not gonna poison you all with an FEV virus). Basically, I'm requesting a custom skin/model of the Enclave Power Armor/Character from Fallout 2...something like this: Also, It would be awesome if the model could be compatible with custom RGB colors....so that I can live my dreams of being a bright purple Enclave soldier with a lightsaber!

Just want to point this out: December 21st is the media date that the world is gonna end. The actual conspiracy date was the 12th (12/12/12). Sorry guys, but the world already ended -
How does one ban someone with a dynamic IP?
Mog replied to Mysterious Stranger's topic in Jedi Knight Tech Support
I have a VPN as a home network. At times, when I'm not using the network, it will change locations entirely. One minute it's in Hamilton, then it's in Regina, then it's in Vancouver. Likewise, any ban will probably never work, unless you set up your system to ban entire location ranges. JP, for example, got rid of China and India as a potential range for people to connect to. This is also the same clan who uses Range Banning as a standard practice. From what I can tell, he seems to be European, because there are very few networks in North America that have network stations in Europe to tap into. If his networks are all from Poland, then place all of Poland in your blacklist. That way, it will potentially remove him from your server.
