As a matter of fact, Legacy forces AA and multitexturing. I'll see if turning them off completely will fix it. AA was the issue, unfortunately, I can't turn it off. The game forces it no matter what you do. Therefore the game is unplayable on my graphics card

What's this? A tech problem post that isn't about JKA? Ok, so another one of my older games decided to break, and this time I have no clue what the issue is. The game is Star Trek: Legacy (yes, how can I like such a game when Bridge Commander is obviously better). However, when I installed the game and ran it, I came across this problem The texture for the ship was black, except for the lights and warp effect. This didn't just affect the ships but also space stations, weapons textures, pretty much any texture besides planets. The only mod I'm running is the Ultimate Universe mod, and this bug was still present in both the vanilla Legacy and the UU Legacy. I've tried fooling around with the settings and nothing has fixed this problem. Tried setting it under a different compatibility mode and that fixed nothing. I'm probably taking a big leap in asking here but meh, I'll give it a shot; What's causing this? And if possible, how can I fix it? I would greatly appreciate any help!

Yeah, widescreen support was out well before the source was released. Just search around on Google and you'll find it

What if Obi-Wan used Force speed to save Qui-Gon?

Oh god, this video -
Ok so I enabled the new chatbox, used the commands to enable the style and nothing showed up I have a feeling I missed something
-
Not really as a kill tracker but more for the chat styling and media player It probably won't work

I assumed in that auto load mod box you put the directory for the mod in, didn't really work. Then I figured since it used the name of the JA+ folder that I'd just put the name of the folder that had OpenJK in it; still didn't work. So...I'll probably have to ditch the KT if I can't figure how to get it working
-
Well, that fixed everything One question though. Is there a way that I can launch OpenJK through UU instead of it auto launching japlus?

Alright, so a few days ago, JKA decided to stop working for me. Whenever I start the game and it goes to the boot screen I'm kicked out to the desktop and the program stops working. This happened almost immediately after I updated my graphics card so I'm sure that the card is to blame. However, I have not been able to find a fix of some kind to help remedy this issue, assuming that the graphics card is even to blame. Oh, and my graphics chip is an Intel HD Graphics 4400. Before the update it worked well

I wouldn't mind that myself, that could be a problem for others though..

This request is pretty simple really. I'm surprised that this doesn't exist in JK3. Basically, I'm requesting a rainbow lightsaber. I haven't been able to find one anywhere so I figured I'd request it. Something like this: If someone could create a rainbow lightsaber mod for me (or anyone looking for a rainbow lightsaber) I'd greatly appreciate it!
-
So, this is basically Sculpt GL?
-
Welcome to the Hub Holy shit, Masters of Darkness is going waaaaaay back into JK3's lifespan. They were a pretty big clan in it's hayday if I remember correctly. A shame they faded out a few years back.

That seems reasonable.

Had a wonderful time on EK and JAWA, also I learned that not playing for awhile means you absolutely suck at playing
-
Yup, it was compatibility issues that caused the issues. Works fine now

He hasn't come back? Jesus.....

Yup, and I switched everything so it runs on 32-bit, though I'll have to wait until I get home before I can test it out
-
Yes, it appears then I get a "Stopped Working" error I'll try doing that as soon as I get home. Though it isn't the actual jamp.exe file that doesn't work properly, but the japlus.exe file which is causing problems. I'll see if changing the compatibility to 32-bit will work though

Empire Strikes Back hands down!

Ok...so I'm running into an issue with getting JA+ and UU to work with JKA. The game itself works perfectly but anytime I try to launch JKA through UU or launch JA+ either by launching it in game or launching it through the shortcut, it crashes in the boot screen. I have no idea why it's doing this. I doubt the issue is a specs problem but if it is, here are my specs: Processor: Intel i3 Dual Core 4010U @ 1.7GHz RAM: 4 GB OS: Windows 8 Pro 64-bit Graphics Chip: Intel HD Graphics Now, I do wonder if it's the 64-bit OS that's causing the problem, however I don't know how I would be able to know for sure. As I said earlier, the game by itself works without issue. The issue is anytime I try launching JA+ or using UU to open JKA it will crash. Can anyone help me figure out what the issue is?
-
Assuming I can get it working on Windows 8 xD JKA just doesn't want to load
-
I'm pretty sure my new computer will be able to run JKA flawlessly though I have a nagging feeling there will be some kind of compatibility issue. Then again, I got the game to work on a piece of shit Dell so it shouldn't be too hard to get it to work on a slightly better Dell Oh, and the slightly better Dell is a Inspiron 3 with an i3 Dual Core, some random Intel HD Card and 4 gigs of RAM. I'll probably upgrade it or something but it's actually quite the performer. It can handle some of my games really well while absolutely getting fucked by others. Hopefully JKA does not fuck me up. UPDATE: Gonna have to wait a little more I'm afraid. For some reason, JKA won't accept JA+ or work with UU. Gonna have to figure out how to get everything sorted

After god knows how long I've been inactive on both JKHub and on JKA, I finally re-installed JKA and I plan to make myself active again in the community. If you were expecting a heart filled paragraph on how excited I am to return, then no, there will most likely be no heart filled paragraph however I can say I'm happy to return to playing this game! And no, Mog's Blog is not coming back. I don't have the time, nor the patience to run a blog that's dedicated to JKA
