  2. Any idea how to make npcs use mind trick against you and vice-versa? In this case if a force user mind tricks you, he/she will become invisible to you, and if you mind trick a force user you'll be invisible to them (like in mp), then you'd have to use force sight (you'd also have to have force sense more powerful than the enemy's mind trick) to be able to see them This doable?
  3. Yeah i'd like to know that too. Tryna make a saberist which uses the force really proficiently (kinda like Desann in Artus, ya know - push then pull like 4 times in a row; griping right again after player force pushes and actually moving the player around in a more agressive manner etc.)
  4. You can't access them through 'setforce' commands. You have to give them to a npc, then you use the 'playermodel' command (refering the modified npc ofc) to try these effects

There are other levels of force powers beyond level 3 LVL 5 DRAIN - Can drain enemies even if they have absorb on LVL 5 SPEED - Makes you run at speeds of "timescale 99" LVL 5 SABER THROW - You can throw your lightsaber to infinite lenghts until your force meter goes to zero LVL 5 SABER DEFENSE - You can't deflect blaster bolts LVL 5 SABER OFFENSE - pushes harder in saber locks/parries LVL 5 PUSH/PULL - Push and pull don't push or pull anything so they become worse than lvl 1 and thus are useless. LVL 5 JUMP - Makes you jump to a height between lvl1 and lvl2 jump while retaining the ability to make wall acrobatics. LVL 4 MINDTRICK - Makes you able to control any npc LVL 5 DARKRAGE - Crashes the game LVL 5 GRIP - Instakills enemy in one second (Deals 1000 damage) Other FPs dont do anything else

  11. Really fun so far, love the architecture and the npc variety. I made it only to the emplaced gun room because i was no longer able to tolerate the lag, the game is on 10 fps for 8 minutes or so and then goes to 54-55 fps for a couple of minutes and then back to the fps drop again (around 10 fps). Its annoying. Although i dont see anyone else complain about it so that might be a problem on my end. I liked it (at least to where i played it), but unfortunately i can't complete the mod.

Seems to me you closed off more than the development sections lol Since i still have the files from the last dropbox link, the program doesn't respond when the loading level progress bar reaches a certain point (it's always the same point) and i cant play. Also, loading times on the df2 art (before the main menu) take about 12 minutes and it may crash to desktop. I was wondering if you could explain why this happens or if this is a generic problem and you have: no idea whatsoever/ need some of my pc info/ or you don't wanna help ?

  16. Installation for Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2015 got stuck at the end in "Windows7_MSU_x86". Googled about the problem, it happened because there were security updates from Windows Updates i hadn't installed yet (Last update i did was back in 2013 lol), so i went in and downloaded windows updates but then another problem came up: The progress bar wouldn't pass 0%. Googled about the problem, all i had to do was disable "Windows Update" service through services.msc, delete all contents in a folder called SoftwareDistribution, then enable the win updates service and it would be good to go. But then (guess what?) another problem: My win update service wouldn't stop for some reason and would be stuck at "stopping" procedure. Googled about it and found a workaround - so i did that but my win update still wouldnt download the updates. So i can't Install Microsoft visucal c++ redistributable 2015 package and thus couldn't play the mod. Buuut! Then you said this, and so i went to the dropbox page full of hopes n' drems aaand you removed the files
  17. mkay. since my windows is x32 the package i'm looking for is "vc_redist.x64.exe" instead of "vc_redist.x86.exe" right? I'll give it a try and say how it goes. EDIT: i'm ignorant, these packages are not meant to support my system (be it 32 or 64) they're meant for the application, so x86 is the way to go
  18. upon starting opendf2_sp.x86 with all the correct files from dropbox in place i get this error: "The program can't start because MSVCP140.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." I assume this is beacuse my windows is x32?
  19. btw I'm interested on those anim scripts you mentioned. Would be nice with optional looping. One example of useful looping is with the "using terminals" animation, where the npc is "interacting" with an imperial terminal or something with buttons.
