  1. HUGE update, boys. I'm 12 pages in, and planning another 10 to complete the first issue! The main focus of this first issue will be to introduce a whole lot of questions, instead of answering them, so don't be disappointed if you're a tad bit confused concerning the flashbacks. In the meantime, I highly advise (for those who have not already) to read into the Dark Forces books or wookipedia entries in order to get a grip on the Katarn talk in the first flashback sequence. You are being thrust straight into the action, and given very little information beyond what you already know of the EU. My friend is currently working on an encyclopedic issue to explain the basic premise for non-jkhub/non-EU readers! Here are some more images to quench some thirst before I release it. and I also took the liberty of creating a chessy quote version. Sorry not sorry: Toodles!
  2. Kelic is an original character, kitbashed by myself for both release and comic purposes Took a break from the comic once again to make something related to the comic. Yayyy. Kelic, a chiss mercenary who knows the secrets of nightsister magics. He is unfinished and requires some more kitbashes, but this is what I have as of now. Wears heavily modified clone armor, and utilizes a two triple barreled blaster pistols. And yes, they hurt. A lot.
  3. This is unbelievable timing! Thank you
  4. Jadus. Even Vitiate stated he was the most cunning Sith his empire had produced. Great job
  5. Well I'm officially 5 pages in with the sixth on the way. This will take probably a week to complete, assuming I continue at my current rate.
  6. Because it requires integration that I have yet to learn how to do. I've tried before in my Ajunta Pall model. The product was... not good.
  7. After a long stint of comic making, I realized I needed some ships to accompany this new saga. And considering there are very few vehicle models right now (I have entire FLEETS worth of MD3 files but I have no idea how to transfer them over) I decided to do a recolor of the Millenium Falcon and complete retexture of the Moldy Crow. The Crow has been redone with my own personal textures I made a LONG time ago for an entirely different game. Worked nicely. The Scarlet Sparrow The White Rose
  8. ROOXON! YOU BEAUTIFUL HUMAN BEING!
  9. Fitting him in is the only difficult part. PM me the details of his background.
  10. I would need a playermodel, or skin. Considering he's also dead he could possibly appear in a flashback, or be briefly mentioned. Beyond that however, I'm unsure.
  11. The official cover page for part 1There is an alternate version without the lighting effects. I personally prefer them.
  12. "There he was greeted with the title of Viscount and discovered that his father, Gram Korr, had also disappeared into the Outer Rim, presumably to search and destroy the Imperial Remnant, now known as the First Order." -Large Plot Summary above
  13. This comic centers around The Force Awakens Era, following the former Jedi Jaden Korr, and what he has done and will do following the events of the second Jedi Purge, destruction of the Hosnian System, and rediscovery of his former Grandmaster, Luke Skywalker. In this modernized take on the original Jedi Academy stories, Kyle Katarn was the tutor to both Rosh Penin and Jaden Korr, both whom arrived at the age of 17 (Jaden was sent at the behest of Ben Solo, shortly before his turn to the Dark Side). Over the course of a year, Jaden and Rosh quickly discovered (along with the rest of the Academy, known as the Jedi Praxeum in this storyline) that a mysterious Sith Cult, founded on the world of Ren, have been attempting to siphon force powers into the scepter of Marka Ragnos, in order to revive Darth Vader. Rosh was turned, to which Jaden and Kyle succeeded in turned him back to the light. After discovering that his former friend, Ben Solo, was in fact Kylo Ren, Master Kyle Katarn attempted to face him alone, without Jaden or Luke. The battle resulted in Kyle's death. In honor of his former Master, Jaden claimed Kyle's lightsaber and set off to defeat Ben on Moraband. Like his master before him, Jaden was defeated and left to the mercy of Ben, who spared his life. After Luke found him half dead in the temple, Jaden decided to leave in search of Ben. A fruitless search, for he and his followers had already disappeared into the Outer Rim. For 5 years Jaden searched, to no avail, until finally returning home to Aquarius. There he was greeted with the title of Viscount and discovered that his father, Gram Korr, had also disappeared into the Outer Rim, presumably to search and destroy the Imperial Remnant, now known as the First Order. On the sixth year, news reached Aquarius that the First Order had emerged from the Outer Rim, and their mystical warriors, the Knights of Ren, had destroyed the once blooming Jedi Order. This only strengthened Jaden's resolve to remain in self imposed exile. The years after that were hard on Jaden, as he heard of the growing threat of the First Order, destruction of the New Republic, and finally the victory of the Resistance and rumors of a new Jedi. Jaden dismissed these rumors. Until the Jedi found him. That's the story up until now. And all I'll say on the overarching plot leading up to the comic. I will state that, the first part of the comic is a flashback following Gram Korr, and that is in fact Sariss, the very same that Kyle Katarn presumably killed on Ruusan. You'll get the full story with the comic. I will be publishing character sheets within the next couple of hours for the main characters you'll end up seeing (minus the surprise ones, and those essential to plot success). Unlike Kualan's comic, I am only working with 3 canon characters. The rest are my take on Legends characters (expect to see some fan favorites), and none are protected by canon, therefor any of them may die. I'm going for a very realistic take on the Star Wars universe, through the eyes of a very broken man.
  14. Real quick, if y'all have custom skins or models of characters you have created for the TFA canon storyline (this includes Original Characters), that you want to appear, i'll likely put them in as a side or background character. Be warned, unlike Kualan's comic there will only be 3 canon characters that will make recurring appearances in this comic. Main characters may die, regularly. So if you give me a character. don't be upset if they die.
  15. You can check out what I have for the comic here. In the meanwhile I'm seeing if the Quilan Vos head works better for our Falon Grey. I'm, trying to find the right torso for it! When I do, ima let y'all know
  16. Star Wars: Legends Thread This is Star Wars: Legends comic thread. Below are some of the previous WIP pics I had created to showcase the effects utilized in the comic. Nothing in this thread is set in stone, and is spoiler free. I am open to discussing any plot points here, and open to taking story arc requests. Spoiler discussions will need to be tagged for others. That is all. Let me know what yall think. *I AM AWARE THAT THE SECOND PICTURE IS THE WRONG PLAYERMODEL. AND I AM FIXING IT. LIKE RIGHT NOW*
  17. This is TEST COMIC material. The only original model is that of Gram Korr, the man attacking respectively, all effects are of my own design. The remaining models are not my creation. in a completely unrelated topic, I've been testing out some variations for the maybe-comic. Here are the force lightning and saber cut designs as of now! Let me know what y'all think about the effects!
  18. Love your work! The Underworld Security might inspire some modernized (TFAized) version. Also, those special forces units look like they can do almost any stormtrooper. Except TR-8R. *Sick Spins away*
  19. Stand-in texture preview for a character creation Falon Grey's face textures, based off of actor Ty Olsson (From which the original X1, X2 and Falon Grey BF3 models were meshed off of) are coming along nicely: Not quite there I was actually going to talk to you about that. Seeing as you are our inhouse Comic Creator! I do plan to do a comic series based off of the adventures of Jaden Korr. (After the Jedi are destroyed, set place in the new canon timeline). I've meant to offer help with your comics before, and I guess I'm offering now: Should you need help, I'm open to the idea, as I very well might come to you for aide in my own comic, respectively.
  20. This is for comic testing purposes only, only two of these models where kitbashed by me (Tarek, which needs a facial reskin as I must have salvaged it from Silas' work, and Gram Korr, a gentleman of my own creation). All textures and relevant information held within are subject to change before appearing in the comic. A slightly better look at Lawson. I'll give y'all a profile shot should you request it. And Gram, seeming very sinister. Also killing guards. Because that's what Dark Jedi do. Jaden was already released! He's a buggy mess, unfortunately, but playable if you can overlook the head to torso error. I'm going about retexturing regular Haplash robes with his SP clothes textures for all around better playability. In the meanwhile I've been working on custom projects, while texturing a Falon Grey face. Look up "Legends Jaden"
  21. TAREK LAWSON IN: NIGHTMARE ALLEY Latest kitbash, the former New Republic Detective, Tarek Lawson. Tarek Lawson is a cop from the mean streets of Corellia. He moves fast, acts fast, and thinks fast. His training as a security officer led to a level of strength and endurance above the common man. He can overpower many foes in hand-to-hand combat, though this is in the case of humanoid thugs. His tolerance for pain is high, though his philosophy of 'you don't feel pain if you don't get hit' has worked out better for him so far. That said, he has high amounts of stamina and can pursue a fleeing target on foot almost relentlessly. As a detective, he is constantly hunched over his desk, working on the latest case. This requires large amounts of concentration and intelligence. Tarek has a tendency to think outside the box and can come to informed, correct conclusions during many cases. He is also knowledgeable about many things as a result of learning at the University of Corellia, in addition to hands-on experience. He has a tendency to spot patterns that others can't, which made him an asset to New Republic Judicial Forces. With such skills comes cockiness, and Tarek is no stranger to being smug and overconfident. He is headstrong and hot-headed, sometimes rushing into combat without thinking. During interrogations, he tends to play the part of the 'bad cop.' This cockiness is an asset, however, and he uses it frequently to get what he wants. Tarek has a knack for getting out of sticky situations with a few words and a twinkle of his eye... in addition to a few smug comments. As slippery as Tarek is with words, he is even better with actions. His aim with a blaster is incredible; almost without match. He is a legend in the security forces. In the criminal world, he is well-known. He is also one of the best pilots in the Corellian System, if not the galaxy.
  22. The only thing I can possibly see with this, as well as Rey's staff, is that it's slightly bigger than the prop variations. Nonetheless an AMAZING replica!
  23. Ahh. I'll check it out.
  24. How is he holding the saber improperly? I seem to have missed that.
