Would it be possible, to create a Server .cfg file that would call out another sever .cfg file AFTER a certain period of time, or at least after the map is over? I know it is possible to have it call another cfgs that are supposed to work along with the server config (Like custom bot cfgs), but would it be possible to create a CFG that would call a cfg for diffent gammemode after some time ? For eg : FFA.cfg is default cfg, after a certain time passes, server calls out CTF.cfg and so on. Any ideas?

Wanna help me with that? http://jkhub.org/topic/627-jedi-academy-official-league/ I guess I figured out how to do a few of the features using enjin.com features, but unless you guys understand PhP well some fatures would probably need to be bought, and scripts are not cheap.

I would surely donate if I still played JKA. Sadly though I do not do so anymore. Mount & Blade devoured me. @@Ping - I know you see it completely different than I do, but is there really any need for duel servers to be well admined? Most players would probably still play on the ESL ones, well you could probably refer them to that one. But my bet is that well admined FFA server is of greater need. Or Siege - this mode is WAY underrated. But like I said, I have completely different point of view/

@@Vegeta - Great idea! I would have never came up with this! Still it would be worth just trying these : Since I couldn't find falcon, I searched if other vehs were supposed to have player accessible turrets. Turs out Lambda shuttle had, but they // them. Most probably that means, they are not implemented, but someone could check it in the code (I don't have access to it from this computer )

But I am currently working on a few new articles (Spawn command for single player, slowly filling up cvar list for SP [MP follows after this, most will repeat anyways], and how do NPC classes affect NPC's in SP and MP) Oh yeah, site is not fully translated to English, sorry for inconvenience. -
@@MagSul - This is a really easy thing to do. If you are still interested in this (2 years, big deal), I can make this in a short time. Just explain in detail which effects to you want to be removed.

@@AshuraDX - While I can not tell if you actually CAN operate a vehicle with more than two players. It was surely meant to be so. So it just might be worth a try. For some reason I can't find it. But the the official .veh file for the Millennium Falcon , which was cut from the game, had two player accessible turrets. I'll search for it a little more, and if I find it I'll post you exact lines used in here. Of course it is possible, that the text in the *.veh file is just an unimplemented feature, and it doesn't work.

Just use ClanMod. CM is the best. When it comes to fighting its only a little different, damages are a bit higher, but you can set them by RCon if you want. Also automatic blocking is reduced, but on the other hand you canblock maualy with a little timing. And now the server admin things : - Very good NPC support, they are smarter, aim better, work in most cases, have friendly fire, can be controled by any player (you can set ammount etc.) - Various commands, inculing basic entity spawning (effects mostly, models are possile to spwan, but you cant set their model boxy-thingy size) - Nolip - Slay - Insult silence - Freeze - empower - Making player melee only - many many many many other - can set starting weapons : saber, melee, pistol in ANY cofiguraton you want. (so you can spawn with DL-44 only, good for RP maps with saber spawns on the map.) - Clan chat, may set server to a clan meeting if you want people to behave for a moment without making everyone sleep - Jedi Maste, Captre the Yalsamari, coop (requires help of an admin to work properly, but some missions are playable even without him.) Etc. etc. et. ~~~~~~ And if you want a mod that changes gameplay, Force Mod III for ever.

I always wanted to host big RP coruscant server, with drug dealing, police, causual jobs, bars, owning shops (money goes to shops storage) and homes, I even started to learn how to implement this things using lugormod, but there isn't a single map that would be good for such big roleplay community, so yeah...

Well... I don't like Rosh at all, but this is kinda nice idea. When I get home, I'll take assets and audacity, correcting just a few lines 2 models and some sounds - ad you an play as Rosh, and kill jaden. Also with a little effort sound montage, higher-ups will refer to you as Rosh. Well I think I'll do this in about two weeks, unless I get to my JKA any sooner. -

I don't think I have ever seen something like that : Dude is willing to pay for the mod, and another one is just telling him how to do something to imitate that certain mod, just like that - for free. I think I could write that mod, but sadly I don not have JKA nor the code here. So yeah by the ime I get home someone will probably already do his. -

Well, If it supposed to be JKO, how do you imagine using other kind of textures? We all want to see the same this we saw, but looking really good. And using the same textures is the best way to make in look the same. What do you want, for the floors to be pink? -
I have just uploaded few maps from my... well pretty old Archives, cos few Mount and Blade clanmates of mine want to play JKA, I was going to link them every one of these maps but, well I find your lack of maps very disturbing ^^ I didn't manage to find only three of my old maps : The five gates Naboo hills 2.1 (This one I must have missed, Impossile it wasn't yet uploaded) Surf Turbo 2 This list will problably grow, after I'll expand servers maps arselnal.

Yes it does work, and it WOULD make NPC spawn useless if someone found out how to give values to the spawn command. npc spawn ID name is nothing compared to spawn NPC_KYLE witch allows to disable Ai, make NPC a cinematic one, or fully script their AI. No one know how to do it though, so you can only spawn an default entity. -

this Actually for entity spawn, you can spawn NPC's cos they are entities, but you can also spawn everything else with it. -
Well... I turned JKHUB on, like I do every day, and quickly checked newest posts. Than I saw Topic named Rancor's Site (My reaction was something like O.O) than I read first post and I fell from my chair. I had no idea anyone still reads my old site. Especially it was never fully translated to English. Anyways I was preparing Multiplayer cmd list, or cvar list, I don't remember now but never finished it, it is probably still on my PC among many other unfinished documents. Also, I'll be requesting to have my site added to resource list soon, if you really want me to. Thanks for the support dusty, you really made my fall from my chair (Still writing this crouching on the ground for some reason, its kinda stupid when I think about it since my chair is few inches to the left) Cheers.

1. Raven Studios only had rights to the Star Wars mark till 2004, that's why they released JKA even though it was not completed. Raven studios have nothing to do with it, they don't have to be developers of every game from Jedi Knight. (Eg. Heroes of might and magic, 3 or 4 different studios worked on it?) 2. Well... This argument is nothing until you can show us some proof, and as we all know Lucas Arts generally don't care about e-mails they receive, so I doubt you will show us any. and yeah, I was going with same stuff as you... But show me one official info where Jedi Academy is reffered as JK3, you will not find such info : In game, in the guide book added to the original CD from 2003, nor on its box. Just because it was released after Outcast don't make it next part. Another Eg. The Elder Scrolls 3 : Morrowind is actually fifth game of the Elder Scrolls Series. (Just in case you are unfamiliar with that title, that makes Skyrim TESVII) But Redguard and Battlespire, were not officaly named TESIII, so Morrowind took this title. -

Um... However awkward can it be, feel free to do it until any one proves that this really is fake. Maybe Affinity will find this proof when he'll have time. But for now, I'm still positive that this is plausible. On this site, in september 2011 was posted that LucasFilm is recruiting to three games : First Person Shooter , Flying action something, (don't know how to translate powietrzna gra akcji Star Wars Starfighter is from this genre) , and Action-Adventure. It was almost two years ago, so FPS is most probably SW 1313, Flying Action MAY be this whole SW First Assault, and Action-Adventure MAY be JK3. Not any proof but, its another piece of puzzle. These may refer to completely different titles of course. @@minilogoguy18 Of course there is a great possibility that IF this game will be released, it will be screwed badly and have some stupid engine that will make it almost impossible to mod. But lets hope for the best. -

Well gents : This anonymous piece of paper is actually copywirted, and it was posted on the internet in 2010 showing an actual of the E3 2010. It was also posted by a reliable site There was no plan for SW1313 back then So you actually have seen this, before ANY of this games was released, 90% of them IS released already. (my mistake wrote was for the first time) Whats more, you guys have to remember that no one in the whole world knows what Jedi Knight is, so there is really no reason for such a site to add it and post pseudo photo, since only 0,001 % of players would even notice anything strange about it. Remember there are also other games that have appeared not only SW. And like SiLink just said, he saw it few years ago. So it was not forged after releasing of this games. Since JK3 is in queue right after The Old Republic, which is pretty new for a game, na Lucas have nothing to do except SW 1313 i really do believe they may be working on this game. Feel free to disagree with me anytime, the more points we have, the closer we are to the truth Maybe you will convince me this is nothing, but for now, I am relly sure of my point, and will try to convince you. Well guys, my fellow from Reviving Siege have sent me this low quality photo : This is supposedly from E3 in 2010 . Like you can make out here. There are : - Lego Star Wars - The Clone Wars - finished- Star Wars The Force Unleashed - finished- Star Wars The Old Republic - finished- Star Wars Jedi Knight III- Star Wars Battlefront III - canceled. As you can see this is the exact order these games have been released. So it seems it's time for JK3 to be released soon. If you read really carefully you'll notice that nowhere in the whole game it is said that Jedi Academy was named Jedi Khight III . And well, this piece of paper proves that Jedi academy was more like standalone addon, than the actual game. Looks pretty reliable to me. Well to be honest RS'Grab has convinced me to this point of view... But what with you guys? What are your thoughts on it? ~EditOh yeah, most probably we will be forced to play as Kyle Katarn once again, since he is the lead character of the whole series, and plot focuses mainly on his adventures.

@@eezstreet While I do agree, that "fixing" is a wrong term. Something that doesn't really exist can't be broken, I have to disagree its just a leftover. Don't know how bout the code, but strings point Jedi Academy direction : REFERENCE 40MOM019LANG_ENGLISH "Ace award" REFERENCE 40MOM020LANG_ENGLISH "First Strike award" REFERENCE 40MOM021LANG_ENGLISH "Jedi Master award" Anyways, you are probalby right that improving graphics would be enough for almost everyone, but if we are dreaming (creating new models and making them all compatible + everything else would require too much effort for any team to make) we can always dream about more eh? @@Fighter I am novice when it comes to C, but I don't think you can add slope to Disruptor which is traceent. Thanks for your links, I'll sure have a look at them.
