  1. I was referring to a playable porg model with some npc files with them holding a gun or lightsaber, not a porg looking gun or porg looking saber... oh my god.. porgsaber...

    Well, you probably remember Kyle lightsabers and such? Stranger things have happened. :ph34r:

    But a porg holding a tiny gun would indeed be funny, provided the gun is sized to match the porg and isn't normal-sized. :D

  2. Just a silly idea. A playable porg model. Some NPCs, guns, lightsabers. I Dunno. Sounds like really funny silly crap. Just putting the idea out.

    This could actually make a pretty cool idea for a modding contest! Porg lightsaber hilt? Porg blaster? A porg npc that walks like a penguin? Good times!

    Off-topic: Damn, I hate these critters' name! I keep trying to write porK or porN instead of porG! >.<

  3. Are you trying to make an in-game character with your face? If yes, you need: computer; Jedi Outcast/ Jedi Academy; some kind of photo-camera; a good photo of your face; GIMP/ Photoshop/ similar program (you'll need to learn to use them of course); Notepad/ similar program; 7zip/ WinZip/ WinRar/ similar program to open .pk3 files; know the folder structure of .pk3 files.

    1. Make your photo and send it onto your computer;
    2. Open your photo in GIMP/ Photoshop/ etc. and and select your face;
    3. In assets1.pk3 find the character that you want to attach your face onto (models\skins\jeditrainer - for example) and extract their files to desktop;
    4. Copy your face and paste it into trainer_face.jpg;
    5. Make necessary adjustments;
    6. Save as;
    7. Rename trainer_face.jpg to me_face.jpg;
    8. Open 'model_default.skin' with Notepad, find 'head_face,models/players/jeditrainer/trainer_face.tga';
    9. Replace with 'head_face,models/players/me/me_face.tga' and save;
    10. Repeat for 'model_red.skin' and 'model_blue.skin' if you want team skins;
    11. Rename folder 'jeditrainer' to 'me';
    12. Make folders 'models', 'players' on desktop;
    13. Put folder 'me' into 'players', and 'players' into 'models'
    14. Save folder 'models' into 'me.zip' archive;
    15. Manually change 'me.zip' extension to 'me.pk3';
    16. Copy 'me.pk3' and paste into game 'base' folder;
    17. Run multiplayer, a jeditrainer with your face should appear in character selection. In singleplayer, open console and type 'playermodel me'.

    I hope it helps.

  4. It is a shame that project like this are getting blocked. I hate when creators of mods and videos are getting attacked like they are enemies.

    We had a games that we could call games. Now ? We have products. Products that cannot be changed or modified in any way because it is illegal.

    Well we just can hope to make our projects and we wont get these kind of treatment after making a big modification for months or should i say - years.

    Or we could, you know, return to bootlegging and stuff. Normally it'd be a bad thing, but under these conditions, is there any other choice?

  5. May I suggest that the frontpage polls actually had some kind of insta-link to the poll's forum thread? The first time you vote, it takes you to the thread (I think), but afterwards you have to manually navigate to the thread in question. Can the poll-title be an insta-link to the poll thread?
