This may not remove shadows from models but it's worth a shot.

Still lacked the freedom of movement granted in JK2/3. Was closer to TFU than JKA what with the attacks preventing you from moving the way you wanted to.

JK2 and 3 were unique because they essentially isolated your arms and legs to different systems.

What exactly did she do after leaving the Order?

I feel like it would be really easy for someone who leaves the Order in this particular era, to end up falling to the dark side simply by virtue of using the Force to their own ends at the expense of others. 

Think about it, in the Order your daily meals and credits are supplied to you on a silver platter by the organization. What're you going to do suddenly launching yourself into the Galaxy with no real life experience in working for a living and no prior work and education experience? Makes it really easy/tempting/onlywaytosurvive to end up using the Force to either steal what you need from others or since having the Force is your only qualification you're going to be approached to do some possibly nefarious tasks.

Even if you roam across the galaxy as some sort of freelance "I'll defend your farm from the mean pirates" type person you're probably eventually going to lean towards the slippery slope of using your power purely for the purposes of cajoling, conquering, and otherwise putting yourself above others.

Very cool. Would be awesome to see as a full authentic or normal MB2 map too.

I thought it was corrupted but my JKA works fine with no problems.

 

I have tried opening it using pakscape and double clicking but no error comes up, just refuses to open. :S

Tried the whole "Open with..." thing when you right click? Keyten may be right in saying that you might have to open it with some other archiver.

Any errors at all? How are you opening it? (As in, are you using pakscape to look for the file and open it, or have you associated all .pk3 files with pakscape so they can just be opened with a double click?)

Make sure to edit those settings in the .ini.

The default settings make JO unplayable it's so dark lol!

But yes, all praise to @@eezstreet for creating such a thing. Who would've thought it was possible?

Cant you just release the graphics changes as a zip file? That's all I really want, just a graphics improvement mod  (HDR, Depth of Field, etc.*)

This all sounds great and I hope you can pull this off, but still,  if you / anyone could just release a f*cking graphics mod, I'd be happiest dickhead alive.

Hmm this may be problem but i dont think so. I add the ambient to the misc_models. Question - Do they take the ambient from worldspawn or i must gave them ambient spawnflag too so nevermind of that? Which option?

Ambient light is essentially telling the engine to paint the textures a lighter, brighter color. I assume it is generated on the model's textures only, not drawing from anything else.

Just running base or a particular mod? Singleplayer or multiplayer?

Any errors in console when you press Use on the spawner button? 

Make sure no other leftover JA processes are running in the background using task manager.

vm_create failed errors usually mean multiple instances of the game are trying to run at once.

That's really interesting. I've never heard of a map affecting the game outside of the map unless it's not even allowing OpenGL to start haha.

Have you tried passing the compiled map off to a friend to see if they have the same issue when playing it?

Are you using GTK to compile or an external GUI?

Is this rend2?

What happens if you don't specify a lightmap scale?

The unique freedom of movement that JO/JA offers I think helps add to the unique suitability to roleplay. Don't ask me how... It just.. does...

Though it seems to be on the rise, you will find most of the remaining roleplay population centralized to a few select communities. Unfortunately, this can lead to leaders of said communities to take advantage of their member-base and flex out-of-character authority and force out-of-roleplay agendas on them all the while knowing they have no where else to go and thus have to just lay there and take the beating. The alternative to getting beat on is to bootlick in order to achieve any progress in those communities.

EDIT: The people that liked this post know exactly what I'm talking about.

That vid from comic con, showing all the practical effects and sets, fills me with such hope as to the quality of this film as compared to the prequal's effects and images. :')

Yeap, you have to run it in compatibility mode and disable desktop composition or something similar to that (I forget). You also have to go into GTK's options and uncheck win32 dialogs I believe. Going from memory at the moment.

@Vulcan is absolutely right. You must check the compatibility options of the program.

 

I had other issue with GtkRadiant 1.4. at least - it wouldn't save any new *.map file. Only Save as option worked, rewriting the existing file.

When saving a map, you can use Save As. You just need to actually type .map at the end of the filename or else it will save as an empty flat file and you'll lose all your work.
