If you aim at a swinging blade, it will stop it with yours. If you try to do that in base, you're just going to take damage as their blade passes through yours.

JA+ is a mod for those who are tired of Lightsaber blades noclip'ing through their opponents just to hit 'em in the face. Imagine if the fights in the movies were like that. Not only would they be over in 10 seconds but they'd also screw up the entire Lightsaber Lore.
JA+ adds the ability to (kind of)manually block incoming strikes, and, under the right server settings it dulls the effectiveness of exploits like wiggling, poking, and widmilling. Which has earned it the ire of basers who rely on such techniques for victory.

The events are really fun, but they're a small part of what JEDI is. Since, as the name implies, the community focuses on your characters life story as a Jedi student and later on as a Knight - they do get the opportunity, on occasion, to head out into the Galaxy either on business or just to relax or explore new places. If your character happens to not be there, you always have the opportunity to play a secondary character to help give the backdrop a little life. So while there is opportunities to play mercenaries and farmers and rogues from space with their own freighters, that's not the main focus but certainly is fun to indulge in from time to time.
Buuut if that's not your cup of Caf you can always just relax in the Enclave,
Where nothing bad ever happens.... wink.
Check us out at www.jediholo.net we'd love to have to take a look around and read more about what we're about.

Cool. I like it.
RPmod is cool, but it only caters to people who role play as Jedi. Your mod includes features for people who don't necessarily want to RP a Force Sensitive, which is excellent. Great work and best of luck!

I'm already drooling. I can't wait to share my sexy voice with everyone.
Lol, I don't deny that VoiP would be cool. But some of the stuff people type on MB2 is pretty hardcore.
Questionable content quoted in the spoiler.
I don't think I've ever been threatened with a "big black dildo" on any other JKA subculture.
Not to mention I wouldn't look forward to hearing a bunch of 10-12 year olds cursing at Mandalorians and teamkillers.

If you have problems with bots getting stuck on doors that open slowly or more artistically, you could make it so the bot route has an extra point back a bit so they like... run forward and backward to give the door extra time to open.
-
That's possible, It'd be a simple matter to throw a test square map together consisting of a default trigger_multiple with the player use function. Spawn an Alora and see if she hops about holding her hand out in front of her.
-
Bots are essentially players, so they'd trigger clientonly type triggers. However bots never perform +use so they would be incapable of toggling triggers or opening doors that require +use.

Cool screenshot! Is it actually working or just a conceptualization as of right now?
Also, the button on the right says Sing Your Clan In. Is it suppose to say Sign? Hope so because I don't have that great of a voice, I can tell you that right now.
A very intriguing idea. If it's not a modification, are you going to have a staff for event moderation for events and "credits"?

The idea of combining VOIP with Moviebattles 2 terrifies me.

Set the affinity for the JKA process only to CPU 0 in task manager.

I've only ever got to play hydroball on a 1v1 basis. I could see having a team based game be a lot better though.
Could form pre-established teams for some sort of ladder?
OpenRP - Open Source RP Mod

Yes, you can have guns, as that's part of the game. XP progression, the only main gameplay feature of RPmod, only targets Force Sensative accounts. So no, RPmod is not for mercs or bounty hunters or whatever. It's limited to JEDI purposes, naturally, as that's what it was designed for.
It does not have non-Force Sensative feats. It does not have a currency system, nor any way to use such a currency system to progress or better outfit a gunner character.
RPmod is good for what it accomplishes. But for communities that are for more Open RP (lol name of the mod) this mod would work great. So once again, great job Fighter keep at it!
