    Now I will touch on controversial issues. It's more like feedback:

    1) I liked the idea with the arenas, but I wanted there to be a unique reward in the form of a separate secret arena after clearing all the rooms. If you don't go into boss rooms.

    2) The ladder modes are very unbalanced. A lot of characters appear on Mustafar; in the last 3 stages, waves of opponents appeared even when the previous ones had not yet ended. It also caused the game to freeze and textures to disappear. There is a similar situation on the Roussan map, although everything is fine with the waves, but towards the final battles the same situation occurs with missing textures and freezing. On the Jedi Temple map, guards with a dual sword in one hand kill with 1-2 attacks. When in this arena you don’t experience the slightest difficulty with the bosses. Played on Jedi Knight difficulty.

    3)I wanted to touch on the balance of the characters. As I understand it, the idea was to make each hero with his own unique set of skills, strengths and weaknesses. And almost everyone doesn’t have the healing skill, but several of the characters have it. Which greatly affects the gameplay in the ladder.
    Although the variety of characters is impressive, some heroes have little or no variety. As I understand it, not everyone was able to be contacted to obtain permission. I would like to see more options or the ability to customize your character yourself.

    As I wrote above, I really liked the mod. And the moments that I voiced. These are just my impressions of the game, which can be ignored.😅

    Thanks for this, I've taken a look at Mustafar and there was a miscount on one of the waves towards the end leading to the next wave being spawned earlier than it should which I've fixed now and it will be in the next update.

    I haven't been able to replicate the freezing or missing textures on later rounds though, are you using OpenJK to play the mod? There are issues in the base version of the game which is why I made OpenJK a requirement.

    I'll look at adding something extra to arenas for clearing all the rooms.

    I wanted to try to make the characters different to play which is why they have different force powers, it does make some of them harder to play than others but I think it also gives people a bit more of a challenge if that's what they're looking for. I'll look at adding heal/drain to some more characters though to give people more chances to regen their health but I did set up the ladders so you get healed after each boss encounter and after each arena in arenas.

    Customising characters isn't something I'm going to add though. I want to do everything through the hub map and adding customisable characters would mean too many permutations and it would be a bit of a headache to script, it was bad enough just trying to get these to work as is!

    It's a ladder type mod where you pick your character and level from a hub.

    So far I have one map for it done called arenas which are small areas from the movies/tv shows/games that you duel characters in and you have to pick a path through them to reach one of the four bosses at the end.

    I'm also working on some more traditional ladder maps where you fight waves of enemies.

    It'll probably be awhile as I'm working on a single player mod at the moment which is taking up most of my spare time.

    It's on my to do list along with about 70 other hilts! It'll probably be awhile before I get around to it though as I'm working on some non-lightsaber stuff atm.

     

    I plan to do more for the next release (whenever that is) but here are the hilts I have done so far.

    Little question, what's the diference between     saber_luke5 - Luke Skywalker (Ep.5)    and    saber_luke6 - Luke Skywalker (Ep.5)

    Looked at them ingame but found them the same.

    It's the tape they used around the middle to cover up the Graflex logo, you can see it better in the renders of the hilts in the screens above. Probably not noticeable in game but eh it was easy enough to do so why not.

    Yeah I've modelled some more I just haven't got around to porting them over to JA yet.

    At the moment I'm going back and redoing the Skywalker saber because originally the reference I used for that was from Star Wars Rebels so it wasn't accurate to the actual prop, I've redone Anakin's from Ep.3 and Rey's from Ep.7. Now I just need to do all the other variants (Luke Ep.4, Luke Ep.5, Rey Ep.9).

    I have modelled all of the Galaxy's Edge parts for a Blade and Sorcery mod but I don't think I'm going to put them in JA because there isn't a way to customise your lightsaber in the base game which would mean I'd have to do a new lightsaber for every variant and there are just too many of them.

  8. I've installed this mod correctly. the lightsabers show up in multiplayer and have the correct names. but I can't get the console commands to work for single player. when I enter the console command to change my lightsaber nothing happens.

    I think in SP you just have to enable cheats first (helpusobi 1) then type saber <saber_name> rather than saber1 or saber2. Also if you want two lightsabers type saber <saber_name1> <saber_name2>.

    One issue: The floors reflect the interiors and hallways, but not the player characters themselves. (Was this map feature only in JKO?)

     

    That aside, great work!

    It's because nothing is actually being reflected it's an old trick, try no clipping under the floor. There is a real reflection shader but it is really expensive to use and will just tank the frame rate.

  9. I see you are releasing many good maps that were meant for mb2. I have not seen an update since dec 2012, so I don't know whats going on. I wanna know about that Cloud City map, and I think you should release it, since I heard from someone that it was really close to being finished, and that was a year ago.

     

    CC isn't my map, these maps were originally meant for MGMV3 which will be released when the next version of MB2 comes out. I just wanted to put a couple of them out in Base JKA as well.
