I think it's still a little early for contests (but I would love to see some). Yah, and all those other things are great, but I remember the staff having a legit reason NOT to post potds (forgot it tho ). But yah.

Yeah we don't want to go the route of PotD's, honestly. All I learned about them from managing JKFiles for years was that the staff hated picking them, and the only thing the community liked to do was complain about them.

I wouldn't be opposed to starting a thread for people to just post their images though.

I think that would be a good idea. Maybe the picture that is chosen could replace the background image (you know, now all it is just a snapshot from the f1_fatal map). It would be nice to see the background change.

Why would you wanna port over files from a game in 05? If your serious about using a more up to date game engine you would want learn how to use it then you would have the answer you seek.
