I believe there was actually a TC-14 model hidden in the Knights of the Force mod. You just gotta grab it in one of the files.

tumblr_o6785hmEdQ1s7zy0eo1_1280.png&&0

I'm surprised people still use this mod, even though it's frowned upon.

if you manage to describe what you want and show me your current textures I might be able to help you

I kinda deleted it in rage.

But it was basically this:

https://jkhub.org/files/file/2091-enhanced-protocol-replacement/

Only I altered the "yellow" textures to a white color and altered the contrast. It's just the shine textures don't make it look like the Chrome Silver that should look like the reference pictures, but in-game.

I tried white, that didn't work, so I tried to make it darker, didn't work, nothing seems to work.

I want to create this in-game:

chrome_wrap.jpg

That sort of reflection chrome. It just beats me so I rage out.

@ maybe you should consider changing the reflection image :P

I see a 3-4 layer shader

-chrome environment as a base

-texture detail as an overlay

-masked out "not shiny" areas of the texture to hide the chrome parts

(-potential 4th layer cotnaining the eye glow)

maybe altering my Teamskin shaders from Solaire could get a decent result - if you get the right textures to go with that

I'm not that good at textures at all.. but it does sound good, but I may not be able to live up to expectation on it, this is one of those things that I can appreciate without creating it myself, I just know I would not succeed.

please go take a look at my old mods

looking back they are super shitty but I learned a lot from being shitty, just by looking at the games original assets, stuff made by others and a lot of messing with stuff as in "If I change this number, what does that do?"

I already took a look and attempted it. I failed, raged, this is something I cannot do, so it will have to remain a request.

Everybody has to start, you're taking the lazy way out by making excuses, I started modding when I was 12 and barely knew english

at 14 I knew a bit more and started picking up stuff from tutorials without having to guess what >50% of the writtens tuff meant

Just go and try, I'll help with the shader stuff and all you have to do is edit Barricades textures a little

so stop the

I only requested it, I never posted it in the WIPS Teasers & Releases.

Hello, im chalk.

Looks cool man. I would consider JkModding to be less than "revolutionalized" with that chrome shader though. In my experience, the _env stage is really just murder on the textures. Try adding in the alphagen const 0.3-0.4 to that stage. If I remember correctly that should opaque the env stage a bit. Can I see your env texture plz? I can help get those streaks off him if I knew what the env map youre using looks like. Try to really get the effects you need from the spec stage and textures, then just a small hint of that reflecty metal. Look at his metal and critique it realistically.... only the t2000 looks like that.
